BigGob was once a fully paid up "believer" .

He bought in at £4 and held , confident in the knowledge that a sale was on the horizon . That was in 2012 . He has admitted this in his posts on this forum .


He was still holding years later when the share price had dropped to 30 pence clinging to the hope of a farm in . This he also wrote about on this forum .

He eventually shat himself all over the floor of the boiler room he is caged in just prior to pushing the sell button in June 2016 . The share price at the time .....4 pence .

BigGob reckons this investing strategy actually made him money .

Please don't laugh .

It struck me that Gulf is obviously for sale at a 'sensible offer' level and its in the public domain that Ashti was a willing seller of the MNR 20% last March ( at a price the. almost twice the current market cap of 58%......) so a bundle of both would provide the MNR with a lump of cash that would settle the arrears /etc as well as profiting themselves.
( it was stated in the leaked sale presentation that $93m of proceeds was earmarked for gulf)

And the future terms that are contracted in the second amendment are key to any buyer.

So I wonder if the negotiations are tripartite perhaps more if mol slice also on block.

One would have thought that a coordinated sale of 100% the 'whole' show would be more attractive to IOC than the piecemeal parts and potentially a negotiated value driver for all parties.
