Put your profit in SAVP after that then. You've been here ages...So 3 month to triple your money in SAVP isn't to bad.

So, not discounted hey? I always apply 15%. Also, take out the cost of running the operation for 10 years. Also the fluctuation of the price of oil.
Maintenance fees. Transport. Debts etc...
If we get £5 I'll be happy.
Now that I have spoken the price will fly, lol

Oh dear.

2jester has a blind spot.

It was "Oilman63" who was screaming at people not to sell their shares.

It makes not the slightest difference to me whether people buy, sell, or hold.

£460 in old money is a long way away aswell, isn't it?

I seem to remember you reccomending everyone held for full value at that point, oil-investor.

Oh dear?

alamaison5: as the unofficial Deputy Hero for those rare occasions when the unchallenged GKPhero is away doing other heroic things, perhaps I might (albeit unofficially, and subject to correction by the mighty GKPhero upon his return, quite possibly from slaying the Gorgon) may I perhaps offer the following suggestion?

There are currently 229.43 million shares in issue. At £25 per share that would represent £5.736 billion. That is slightly more than the £5 billion figure, but the hero has said "at least" £5 billion. Who knows? Maybe GKP could buy some of the shares back and cancel them, other companies have been doing that. But it's pretty close. A broad-brush figure.

And along way from the current share price - a price which seems to obsess a number of non-shareholders. One wonders quite why they are here...

I will take anything over £20 per share though.

That would be a fair result here.

OK alamaison5,

Shaikan probably has 20 billion barrels of OIP. (at least)

A third out so lets call 7 billion barrels of reserves.

GKP's share of this is roughly 4 billion barrels.

At a conservative £1.25 per barrel we get £5 billion for Shaikan.

With 250k shares in issue we get a share price of £25 per share.

Love it "to busy looking at patterns in my curtains" wd 2jester, Bond holders are starting to off load, no doubt. New agreement means, no control and no paypack, simple I reckon.
