If you were IOC
And prepared to play in the region
Proven reserves
Proven prod data
Plus lots of prospectivity
Rather better than drill on hope

Hence I anticipate a move in full or part on GKP/Shaikan

Buy
Hold
Hold then buy

Lardner from your own post.

Hawrami expressed disappointment that Mossavar-Rahmani had opted to make his concerns about the industry known so publicly without first discussing them with his ministry in private. He stressed that airing such grievances in a public forum is no one’s interest.

DNO will now be given a hard time.

And you ask why certain things don't get said. Read between the lines.

It would seem that the idea of poking a drill bit anywhere into the dirt on Kurdy soil and hitting a gusher no longer the go.

Perhaps Shaikan getting more valuable with every relinquished block?

RoadkillYou are not alone mate ,it sure does weigh heavy.Yes we are alive but guilt and foolishness are not easy to carry especially when loved ones are involved.Who would have though with oil we supposedly had we could lose everything.I hope those who lied are held accountable but it wont change our feelings and position we left ourselves in.I can only wish you and your family well. You are not alone but im unsure thats any consolation.Good luck to you and all the best.K

Good luck roadkill2. Sorry to hear that...

phillis,

It`s disgusting how a few have behaved WRT GKP. From the MNR to the BoDs, to some on here. It`s basically been a con from start to finish. Some have become very rich, some richer- Read AH- whereas the GKP shareholders have been scammed. Well some say more fool them- but it appears the merry go round is just starting up again- if you read some of those tweets from today.

Anyway- you live and learn. Or some do. That`s the idea....

"Now after Cashti's comments do people now understand what the oil companies have been up against and why certain events have played out like they have.

Come to the AGM and make your own mind up."

LOL. In anyone's wildest dreams, do they really think the BoD are going to tell it how it is at an AGM?

Never have, never will, because the obvious audience retort would be to demand an explanation of why the BOD themselves, knowing what they know, have played along with the MNR and not communicated the 'truth' to PIs previously. It will be the usual flaccid pseudo-diplomatic corporate speak.

Hello Cutt

As I have previously said that assets (SA) were over exaggerated by the old BoD and by certain posters on here.

Now after Cashti's comments do people now understand what the oil companies have been up against and why certain events have played out like they have.

Come to the AGM and make your own mind up.

£20 quid return.

Best of luck roadkill

Comments like those coming out of the conference don't inspire confidence that things are likely to improve any time soon.

And assets "over exaggerated" in the earlier days

Lol

Why is it that GKP have only had an offer in the hundreds of millions again? Has anyone explained that away yet when the Chinese were willing to pay £17 a share.

AH apparently wants investment, so what was the block from the government on that deal?

And I didn't hear anyone mention the fact that Exxon have relinquished a few blocks.

Farce.

I'm out.

I'd been in since before we struck oil. I recommended it to many of my family and some friends too. Some of us had our life savings in here and it's been lost. At least some of us have the time to recoup some losses but others don't unfortunately.

I did my own research of course so am responsible for some huge losses to my loved ones and the guilt weighs heavy. Too much time has been spent sitting in front of the computer to read the arguments to and for this investment, time I cannot get back. I attended the courtcase too, travelled to see some other investors but I can't justify any more time here. What little I have left, will be used elsewhere.

Whether or not this comes good, who knows but it's been too long for me and I can use the remaining money elsewhere.

Good luck to the long timers, I know who you are.
