Us LTH didn't get carried away with the comments from Fuad Hussein, we have seen it all before - easy for him to spout lies yet again but now the USA & Apikur are seriously on the case I am more optimistic. The press coverage given to the Kurdistan situation after Iraq and proxies trying to bankrupt them is very welcome and has focused the deserved attention and injustice faced over many years by the Kurdish community. Let's see what May/ June brings if the scheduled meeting go ahead, thanks to all the news hounds - much appreciated

It was.interesting in that APIKuR conf/meeting that the higher up DNO (non Kurdistan specific ).Postulated that it is not in some people interest to get the pipeline going as, pop-up kurdi refineries are buying at $30. Refining and the product is being trucked to the border... To get $80...All other Comp. Reps confirmed that refined oil is indeed being trucked out....And then one wondered why the trucking solution was not available to them this time round. As they are ready to go.Also it was clear they all had no idea about when the pipeline may start again. Again the slightly freer DNO postulated wild guess at 2024 H2.However, this idea that the solution may not be everyone's interests was an interesting one. Corruption? (No never surely the Kurdi leaders want revenue for the country right? :-))

It's fully accepted and Iraq that officials will lie through their teeth and the local population accept this as the norm, of course there is delay, local officials and even high ups are lining their pockets at the expense of the IOC's. That's why Kurdistan hasn't arranged for direct trucking operations to Turkey, their relatives are making more money on the private market. But I'm still positive of the outcome, GKP are cashflow positive, local sales are increasing, they can wait out all the corruption and nonsense while water dries, up reputations are tarnished and Anthony Blinken will turn the thumb screws on Sudani next month. I waited 2 years to see light at the end of the tunnel with Polymetal to get a bargain price on a good business, happy to do the same here.

Having said that it is clear things are moving forward and there is progress.

The local officials simply cannot be trusted. They are sound bite chancers. Frustrating but i suspect we are nearing the end game.
