No be about 30/40 quid.As we know at least 55m shares never sold at 310 p or 48:p as they know what the co is worth.John is being too optimistic imo The takeover most likely only about 10bn dollars 35 quid area.Fill yer boots

Okay, here goes. When a company is listed on the stock market, the equity is divided into fragments, or 'shares' if you will.
Think of it like a massive pie. It can theoretically split just once, forming two shares, or it can be split an infinite amount of times, with the fragments listed on the stock market and determining the worth of the company. In GKP's case, this has happened 220 million times.
At the moment, each individual fragment is valued at just under 95p, and if someone wanted to buy the company, they would need to pay £100 x 220 million according to Johnbuy.
(This is the big I don't totally get, but hope this helps mate).

It's been in the MSCI global small cap since 2018.Now moved to MSCI micro sap.Requires various funds to own.If that's what the large trades were about.Possibly explains the hedges being short .Avery large trade after hrs maybe to do with shorts passing stock back to brokers they borrowed from..In ant event the major holders all holding or adding ....Fill yer boots...takeover nearby.

Yes. Possibly just a case of switching indexes in this case though. Hence not affecting price.

So far as I am aware an uncrossing trade at the end of the trading day is simply a matching of remaining buyers and sellers.

Happy to be corrected with evidence I am wrong.
