ERBIL, Kurdistan Region -  Italian Ambassador to Iraq Maurizio Greganti on Tuesday said that it is "very important" for the Kurdistan Region to be allowed to resume its oil exports months after the process was suspended due to an arbitration case between Ankara and Baghdad. He said that it is "very important" to allow the resumption of the Kurdistan Regional Government's oil export "it is a very important source of income for the KRG and for Iraq as well," the top Italian diplomat told Rudaw's Payam Sarbast. "It is the question of political agreement among the parties concerned and I think in this regard the incoming visit of President Erdogan to Baghdad, to Iraq will be very important," he added.

Pete - its about the erasure of Palestine and I guess the deep states are happy for this to be done at pace that most in the world won't notice. So this is the last piece of the puzzle and an important one for the IOCs as will determine the future of payments. I hope they have the balls to stay firm. Fine for GKP as self sufficient currently, but the others? A few more weeks to wait is no skin off of my nose.

So the pipeline will stay empty and Turkey will get no discounted oil or transit fees.

Iraq will continue to lose $1 billion a month.

Iraqi farmers will have to sell their land and livestock and schools will continue to have no drinking water.

Until GKP and APIKUR say otherwise.

Because of their own arrogance and stupidity the ICG are having to learn the hard way what an internationally recognised legally binding contract is.
