“ Majid Al-Lajmawi, the Iraqi ambassador to Ankara, confirmed that Turkey has agreed to restart oil exports through the Iraqi-Turkish oil pipeline.

The Iraqi News Agency, a semi-official source, reported this development after Lajmawi's meeting with Alparslan Bayraktar, the Turkish energy and natural resources minister, on Wednesday.

Ambassador Lajmawi expressed gratitude on behalf of the Iraqi government and its people for Turkey's decision. He emphasized Iraq's preparedness to quickly restart oil exports and noted that this move would significantly strengthen Iraqi-Turkish ties and benefit both countries.”

A game of patience as IGC and Kurdistan politicians get squeezed from all sides to get the petroleum laws and PSC’s aligned and agree back payments for oil already sold. GKP and the other oilers have shown they can survive with local sales, so whilst there might be a token gesture release of supplies back into the export pipeline, it’s likely they’ll rightly play hardball as this is their chance to leverage a long term agreement that allows their Kurdistan assets to be properly valued with minimal “ political risk”.

So, what price GKP on this basis , allowing say 3 months for the process to reach a satisfactory outcome?
