I note that the idiot from Stockport's hourly prediction over the past 9 years of an imminent takeover has again failed. That's because no one is interested in what they have and shown in the CPR's.

Production during 2022 has fallen and is only 3k more a day from back in December 2014 despite at least 6 more wells. Clearly proving that the new wells are thieving oil from other wells. Is that really a field that's performing well?

I recall you rampers were shouting that the 55k a day was only weeks away 12 months ago. Whereas the reality today is 44k a day. And you believe all is just fine, lol. That of course encourages the usual excuses from those that are desperate enough to invent them. And the clueless are forced to believe that BS.

Isn't there something very wrong when shareholders desperately rely on pandemics and wars to increase the oil price rather than their investment being progressed?

After 13 years of your ramping BS the share price stands at 2p suckers and you're gonna need new rose tints:-)

Happy to explain the reality suckers.

IRAQI PM CALLS FOR CLOSER TIES WITH CHINA
Dec. 9, 2022. - Iraqi Prime Minister's Office

Iraqi prime minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani called on Friday for strengthening relations between Arab states and China during the regional summit with Chinese president Xi Jinping.

At the event in Riyadh, Sudani asked China to assume a key role in the economic development of the entire region, which he said needs Chinese expertise and technologies in various fields — "particularly in combating poverty and epidemics, agriculture development in salt water, and efforts to combat desertification.R21;

Sudani said his country is looking forward to joining the Belt and Road Initiative and other investment, energy, and infrastructure projects.

During his meeting with Xi, “the Prime Minister affirmed Iraq's willingness to benefit from Chinese expertise in various fields and the desire to enhance its partnership with China within the Belt and Road Initiative and in the areas of infrastructure,̶1; according to Iraqi PM media office. Xi, according to the release, welcomed the chance for more bilateral cooperation and reiterated "his country's support for Iraq's security, stability, and sovereignty.”

Sudani is continuing the stance of his predecessor, Adel Abdul Mahdi, in establishing a strategic relationship with Beijing. The former Iraqi prime minister traveled to China in 2019 and signed various memorandums of understanding, but none of them were implemented due to the unrest in Iraq in 2019 and 2020.

His successor, Mustafa Kadhimi, showed less enthusiasm toward ties with China. Instead, Kadhimi moved the relationship closer to western powers including the United States and France. During the last few years, Chinese companies obtained more influence on Iraqi oilfields following the withdrawal of western companies. Sudan's participation in the Riyadh summit seeks to build on China's influence both in Iraq and regionally

$100 OIL TO RETURN IN 2023
By Alex Kimani - Dec 21, 2022.

Eric Nuttall, partner and senior portfolio manager at Ninepoint Partners LP, has told the Financial Post that oil prices will return to $100 per barrel in 2023. According to the analysts, many of the headwinds that have cut short the oil price rally this year including China’s zero-Covid policy and the coordinated SPR releases by several governments, will no longer be there in 2023. Coupled with sanctions on Russia’s oil and gas, this should elevate oil prices. He has also predicted that the energy sector will continue to outperform other market sectors due to high demand in oil and gas stocks.

Nutall is not the only bull here. Last week, the Bank of America predicted that Brent could quickly go past $90 per barrel on the back of a dovish pivot in the U.S. Federal Reserve and a “successful221; economic reopening by China.

BofA has forecast that Brent prices--currently trading at $77.93--will average $100/bbl in 2023 thanks to Chinese oil demand recovery on a post-COVID reopening coupled with a drop in Russian supplies of about 1 million barrels per day (bpd). According to the investment bank, OPEC+ is likely to fully implement a 2 million bpd output cut in a bid to boost oil prices.

The forecast has come at a time when oil prices have been steadily declining due to fears that a weakening global economy would curb fuel demand. Last week, Beijing announced the most sweeping changes to its strict Covid-19 guidelines, including relaxing testing requirements and travel restrictions. Further, people infected with Covid-19 but have only mild or no symptoms are now allowed to isolate at home instead of convalescing in centrally managed facilities.

“Our oil demand and price projections for 2023 rely heavily on robust China and India demand growth, so any Asia reopening delays could affect our expected price trajectory,” said the bank, adding that the path to a post-pandemic environment may not be easy “given the low levels of immunity in China.”

Crude oil futures have surrendered nearly all gains for the year, posting their largest weekly losses in more than eight months, as restarts for key pipelines eased supply concerns coupled with ongoing worries about a global recession and weaker crude demand from China.

Shafaq News/ Oil prices rose more than $1 on Friday on expectations of a drop in Russian crude supply, which helped offset worries of a hit to U.S. transport fuel demand growth as a looming Arctic storm threatens travel during the holiday season.
Brent crude was up by 66 cents, or 0.8%, to $81.64 a barrel by 0440 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was at $78.27 a barrel, up 78 cents, or 1% higher.
