This is GKP. It usually moves in the opposite direction to logic. Completely manipulated. If you had contra traded it over the past few years you would have done very well.

Poor day having lost most of Fridays gains - but it seems sector related as the general malaise continues -

I agree about HSBC, however it's not always bad, I have benefited with a lower price when eventually getting my Divi from HSBC than if I had it on payment day.

But it would be nice to have it on the actual pay day so I can control its destiny.

Im moving to Hargreaves Lansdown, my sons JISA was credited with the dividends on Friday.I would be surprised if HSBC credit them by this Thursday based on the last dividend payment.

I wonder how much First Direct/HSBC gain by sitting on people's dividends for a day or two? ....
Am also with FD and they made me jump through so many hoops just to transfer money to Binance. In the end I had to transfer my money via Revolut and they still had the temerity to call me to say why am I transferring my money and make me listen to a lady with a difficult to understand strong accent on the perils of investing money elsewhere...

A new owner would have different priorities and targets. Which is why they are sitting on the FDP IMO.

INOC's focus on profit and dividends = increased production.

215m + 100m bond redemption.Well over half it's market cap cash paid out in 9 months , just what a company soon needing to finance a 1bn dollar capex project should be doing ;)The most obvious incoming takeover EVER.
