Investors Chronicle BUY Recommendation:

"Earlier this year, the IC’s technical analyst Michael Taylor observed that “a breakout from the 220p resistance zone would see the stock move into a price area not seen since the autumn of 2019”. That’s already played-out, and the next leg up is towards the 300p mark, so a forward ratio of three times forecast earnings and a prospective dividend yield in double-figures seems compelling given the prospect of enduring elevated oil prices. Buy."

23p dividend being paid May 13, and 9 p in early July.

Look at div history last 10 months............Best YIELD on UK market bar NONE.

Why no BUYBACKS?..........Because in T/O talks for mths + BID AGREED
.
Code allows providing NON abnormal dividends but NOT open mkt buybacks that would breach Takeover Code ?

What was the point of submitting the FDP when they can't even reach the fast easy and cheap 55k a day which is taking seven years plus, lol.

I bet the Insti's didn't realise they would still have to be holding shares this long. Kicking themselves for not dumping at £3 years ago? Will they dump before the inevitable OP fall to a more manageable level?

Many will be transferring sums upto 20k into their Stocks & Shares ISAs today at the start of the new Tax Year 2022-2023 & waiting for an ideal entry point with that new money into GKP 💪
