Investors - should ask:
Why no buybacks in mkt this past year , but $150m in dividends is just fine ?
The reason?
On back of a postcard.
Sale process / deal of course.
These sale implementation agreements - naughty.

sp drop not only on GKP, but GENEL also.

For those anti KRG oilers, have a look at BP and Shell.

No need for panic.

In a month we will all have 17p plus or minus a penny in our bank accounts from the dividend.

Its either:They are already ( using a proxy) buying back and have been since June 2019 when they gave themselves authority without further need to inform market.AND/ORThey can't buyback in public market, because they are in a sale process. Both in my opinion.

It is an excellent question.Buybacks far more appropriate, but seemingly they can't. Not in mkt in public....But they can pay endless divvies......----+++++----+---Investors - should ask:Why no buybacks in mkt this past year , but $150m in dividends is just fine ?The reason? On back of a postcard.Sale process / deal of course. These sale implementation agreements - naughty.

Been buying today I reckon the markets will rally even if fed increase rates..And with oil reserves worldwide still depleting weekly oil is going higher imo.Very nice dividend to start the year but buy backs would have been better
