Iraq has finished paying Kuwait compo. Oil exports have risen 5% in Nov so they should have plenty to pay the Kurds with then.

Its deep water drilling with some of the worst weather in the UK + the SNP/Green alliance are against it. Its not surprising.

Shell says that the economics of the Cambo oilfield project, off Shetland, do not justify going ahead. Not with Shaikan a sitting duck, I would guess.
