He was just as fixated in days gone by as he is now except in the polar opposite. That is how he lost his shirt. Normally I would have empathy for someone losing capital but not in his case.
Now has he ever said why he still sticks around, I suspect not.
I feel it is quite obvious that he suffers from PTED.

And, Habshan, let's not forget that £4 a share was on 1bn (or was it 2bn) in issue and not the current 200m

Oil slips after API data shows U.S. inventory build-up hxxp://reut.rs/3wjjfcM

Surely the US is holding back on exports - how else can they build stocks when the rest of the world sees shortages?

Looks like bye bye Biden as the Republicans win Virginia from the Democrats. They might restart the XL pipeline that fool cancelled.

There were a lot lot more HC , but the large majority of them ( including other posters )have been removed by ADVFN. All of them pre restructure BTW . So probably just a routine space saving exercise.

Lifeson has a pile of them tho , he might post a few if you ask him nicely. LOL

I was just looking for one of the great predictions/calls of BD5 that he keeps referring too, guess this is one.
So who is the mug or moron?

Filiman, "I think there is a huge risk of Todd, John and Ewen walking".

Why would that be? He's already said he wouldn't. His life is wrapped up in GKP. His wealth almost certainly depends on the success of GKP. No one on the planet has found the oil and gas he has found in the past 30 years. He has a relationship with AH and the KRG that other oilmen I daresay envy. £3/£4. So the unofficial offers double that get ignored?
You will upset the rose tints with that sort of comment. Especially as you are a new entrant here.

Doji's candlesticks and hammers, is that what you clowns have now resorted to, lol.

Twelve years on, still low 40's production from all those wells and there's morons here that believe the "experts" have a deep understanding of the field?

Its comedy gold.

It does point that way. US hedge funds unlikely to be on the inside of a Chinese or Indian deal and certainly not Russian and they've held steadfast for quite a few years now. But the world has changed over that time and belt and road is now reality. Quite fascinating to watch.

I agree but I think USA will get the prize ,put in 18 years of effort and got a massive presence there so why not.

It depends who's in the frame, NOR. If it's Western led with all the regulations etc. then I'd agree, HCL needed. If it's Eastern or Russian or, even, ME (eg Saudi Aramco?) then maybe not so certain. They have other ways of enforcing contracts. (Reciprocal deals, Sharia etc.) We'll just have to wait and see.

A substantial rise is way over due but I think HCL has to get done before any really meaningful one will come. The Kurds by not complying with Baghdad are making it difficult for majors to pile in but the people doing it don't care about the population, they make more fiddling. NZ was in his element .
