John Arnold, the billionaire philanthropist who made his fortune betting on natural gas prices, says the energy crisis in Europe should serve as a cautionary tale for the U.S. about transitioning away from fossil fuels too quickly.

Europe’s gas crunch is a warning that the U.S. must ensure a smooth transition to reasonably priced, carbon-free energy, Arnold said last week on Twitter. He added that efforts by some to “kill” the oil and gas industry will result in price spikes that risk alienating voters who otherwise support efforts to address climate change.

“It will be easy to place blame on government policies if consumer energy prices spike,” wrote Arnold, who founded hedge fund Centaurus Capital LP and was a gas trader at Enron Corp. “Opponents will scream from the rooftops that decarbonization actions caused the price rise, whether true or not.”

GKP has again retested 200p + & the 52 week high at 202.5p has finally been broken with a close at 205p.

It is now a bull flag breakout targeting 300p, looking highly likely too with:-

1) Peel Hunt setting a GKP BUY target of 275p per share on 11/6.

2) GKP MACD has now turned upwards on the GKP chart after the 2nd GKP Special Dividend was paid out on 6/8.

3) The 3rd GKP dividend in just over 3 months, the Interim Dividend of 17.093p will pay out in just over a weeks time on 8/10.

4). Shaikan 13 well has been in progress ahead of schedule & the drill results are due any day now, taking GKP Shaikan BOPD production UP from its 2021 production guidance range of 42,000 - 44,000 BOPD.

5). Drilling of SH-14 underway with completion and hook-up expected in Q4 2021 as part of 55000 BOPD expansion programme.

6). Completed debottlenecking of PF-2, increasing total field processing capacity to c.57,500 BOPD.

7). Continuous drilling & planning to spud SH-G in Q4 2021, after completion of SH-14. SH-G is expected to commence production in Q1 2022

8). Continuing to work closely with the MNR and partner on the preparation of the Shaikan FDP and expect to submit the FDP to the MNR in Q4 2021 for approval.

9). GKP about to imminently launch a 10 percent share buyback of 21.3 MILLION shares & then retire them.

The early restart of the drilling campaign in June enables us to maintain production growth momentum and to drill an additional well, SH-G, in 2021 after completion of SH-14, the final well in the 55,000 bopd investment programme. SH-14 is expected to come onstream in Q4 2021, while we expect SH-G to come onstream in Q1 2022.

No Nufc, what we've said has actually been proven as fact whereas all the ramping that has gone on for the past 12 years hasn't. So who is in the wrong.

And the rampers are continually posting up fantasy and its proved to be wrong whereas I've been proved to be correct. You want just a few of my examples?

Do post up where you believe I've lied. Or would it be easier for me to remind you of all the fantasy that has proved to be BS as I predicted?

How many investors have lost money due to all the ramping over the past 12 years.

Is a post negative when it turns out to be fact.

Q4 is until end of Dec, GKP are not late and there is no reason for any concern , you can't miss at Shaikan.
