Oil prices look to finish at a nearly 3-year high; Goldman Sachs lifts Brent year-end target to $90 a barrel

Natural-gas futures climb by more than 7%

Prices for U.S. and global benchmark crude were on track to mark their highest settlements in almost three years on Monday, as oil prices continued to rally on the back of tight supplies and strengthening demand.

Goldman Sachs has boosted its Brent oil price year-end target to $90 a barrel, citing the lingering impact of Hurricane Ida on supply while demand ramps up, particularly in COVID-averse Asia.

November Brent crude BRNX21 , the global benchmark, was up $1.47, or 1.9%, at $79.56 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe. December Brent BRN00 BRNZ21 , the most actively traded contract, was up $1.48, or 1.9%, at $78.71 a barrel.

Good Evening 😃

I think David and Paul are missing me 😂

I'm just a little busy cleaning spark plugs at the moment, but I can assure you I'm alive and well and GoatCam is 100% functional !

I can't say that I've seen any news on SH13 🤔

It's a good job the oil price has come to your rescue 😂

The afters are now picking up all the trades from earlier which were held back in order to keep a lid on the rise. What a bent market. (imo) Today's rise is almost a big as the day they declared a $50m interim dividend. I don't suppose they're going to declare another are they?

Pensioner - "I guess a 12p rise is a bit hard to get negative spin from."

The bonehead has been desperately trying to apply negative spin to the 165p or 412% rise since she said this this time last year.

Oil price

Oil had a good week, WTI gained $2.01 and Brent $2.75 which has put the differential at over $4 now. Today both crudes are up around a dollar at over $75 and $79 respectively, at the top of the range which reminds me of how clever those sellers thought they were just three weeks ago.

Hurricanes are still making their mark, Ida has left a bigger than expected impact with quite some production in the GoM still offline and refinery rates only just picking up into the 80’s%. Category 1 Storm Sam is expected to become a hurricane anytime now but seems to be headed west of the Leeward islands into the Atlantic.

Elsewhere I think we can expect continued stock draw downs particularly as China has seen a further rise in imports which triggered a draw from their strategic reserves after a tender for 4.43m barrels. Finally the rig count saw a rise of 9 units overall to 521 and 10 in oil to 421.

You're babbling now, Muttley. The boss won't be pleased. Best go back to the jungle drums for more inspiration, eh? Too much perspiration today but I guess a 12p rise is a bit hard to get negative spin from.

I see that the Stockport moron is real busy with all his Kurdnam versions of his avatars.

That's pure desperation for you.

Still no S13 news, I wonder how they will spin that "issue".

But its all ok cos Nufc reckons they really understand the field even though S6, S7 S9 and S12 all failed with their primary objectives. And if S13 has failed as I suspect won't the 55k a day be in real problems? So what will that do to the FDP.

All about the fantasy Kozel barrels? Strange they never get a mention in any Presentation innit:-)

What you meant and what you said were completely different Nufc. However I understand completely you don't have the time to keep responding as you've so many other avatars to keep posting your BS from.

Like a few others here you're saying the company are hiding the the truth, that the CPR's are wrong. Just like RW was always trying to convince others they were with missing slides and various presentation "mistakes" and reserves that were really OIP and forever pointing out JS had said this and that. But the truth is absolutely naff all that RW predicted has occured and all you clowns have is that the company are hiding "the real value". And those that don't agree with all the fanatsy ramping are preventing the company from announcing your real value.

Anyway get back to some of your other avatars and make up some more BS for your desperate clowns:-)

Breakout!

I remember the run from 9p to 450p+---up day after day, left sellers scrambling to get back in.This time we have huge wads of cash pouring into the bank, production ramp up and FDP, all in the short term, with oil pushing $80 with explo/global reserves declining. It certainly does look very very positive.
