Hi Nest. My treat will be a Porsche boxter as a second car and maybe a fire blade or something like.
Be nice to get to the end and all meet up at the T/O party.

Beernut Re 369 I have said $200 bll POO will happen for years it's obvious. Hardly any oil getting discovered , economic growth continuing cars having to be fossil fuel for a long time yet . Maybe the roads will be a lot quieter for GKP PIs to drive their Bentleys on at $200 ? PMSL

"I decided after reading the amount of energy expended discouraging investors, and on establishing the cash generation to forget a technical entry trade "

Indeed Gaisman , some of us have held that view for a while. For example why would a troll post all day / every day for ~10 years ? Then why would another group of 3- 4 join him and create multiple avatars each , here and on LSE , and why are all their posts so similiar and coordinated ? Unless all this is being orchestrated ?

As for the sale ? Well this oil price isnt going to last forever. The KRG/ICG politics will have to be "arranged" prior to the forthcoming elections and I imagine certain "vested" interests will be getting unsettled at events in the ME and current IMF investigations in Kurdistan /Iraq budgets and are planning to jump ship before the SHTF.

Hopefully.

Oil price could hit $200 without new investments says Omani minister
10/09/2021
By Energy Voice
Oil prices could hit $200 per barrel if no new investments are made in the upstream oil and gas sector in the short-term, Oman's energy and minerals minister said yesterday in reply to the International Energy Agency's (IEAs) assessment for reaching net-zero emissions by 2050, reported S&P Global Platts.

640,000 posts here :)

I decided after reading the amount of energy expended discouraging investors, and on establishing the cash generation to forget a technical entry trade.

Instead I took 30,000 last week at VWAP 188.6 in my SIPP

Ii believe a takeover is inevitable.

Happy to wait and collect a tremendous yield meantime

World’s Top Oil Guzzlers Surpass Pre-Pandemic Consumption
Bloomberg News

Updated on 9 September 2021, 08:20 BST
Chinese oil demand to rise 13% in 4Q from 2019: SIA Energy
Gasoline consumption improving in India, although diesel down
Some of the world’s biggest economies are seeing oil consumption turn the corner and even surpass pre-pandemic levels as falling Covid-19 infection rates drive a recovery in activity.

Oil demand in China, the world’s top energy consumer, will be 13% higher next quarter than in the same period in 2019 before the pandemic, according to SIA Energy. Indian fuel sales extended a rebound last month, while American consumption of petroleum products just hit a record high. Europe has also just had its best August for gasoline demand in 10 years, IHS Markit said.

Good Evening Bigdog,

I been back and checked my information and it's correct.

I agree with your post on the ramptastic thread.

If you look back at news releases from last year you had the results early September and then an update on SH12 late November and an Ops update early December.

That RNS could be a long way off yet.

The problem with Nesto's simplistic interpretation of Bob's posting(s) is that the Shaiken series of Reservoirs does NOT equate to a simple rectangular slab / layer cake.

The layer thickness may indeed be reasonably constant at ca 1km, but the Shaikan formations resembles more a series of bubbles whose exploitable contents are defined by the OWC.

At the high point of the bubbles, they may indeed be (in total) 1km in height/depth, but at their outer edges, as the bubble nears the OWC, that 1km tapers to zero.

Re the fracture intensity, there are areas within the SH field where the fracture porosity is almost zero.
There are also areas (depths) where the oil is tar-like and almost impossible to flow.

Understanding of the SH field / formations has changed enormously in the last 6 years since Bob's posting...and not for the better either.

Bigdog - "We keep telling you morons the data from years ago is now completely worthless and irrelevant." "... shaiCON which has shrunk massively. Huge ramifications that will affect the Reserves"

The experts, the people who have all the data, disagree with you Sarah.

Jon Harris a week ago, the emphasis was his:-

"To date we have ONLY produced around 92 million stock tank barrels from a field that has ENORMOUS potential"

What a great reminder Nest. Compare that with the twaddle that we are being deluged with day after day to try to steer us away from this investment. Chalk and cheese

80$ oil coming boys, Girls and trannies! From operator reports, it is estimated that approximately 66.36% (1,207,783 barrels) of the current oil production in the Gulf of Mexico is shut in. BSEE estimates that approximately 75.55% of the gas production in the Gulf of Mexico is shut in. #oott https://t.co/ASE8HpPXj6

Hello Kman,
just re-reading the RNS of 23rd Nov-20 (completion of SH-12 workover) it was stated that the workover involved moving the producing level higher - from the Lower Butmah up into the SAM. No fitting of ESP was necessary as the well had already been fitted with one.

The same might be happening with SH-13 - had to get away from the original TD (water?) moved up hole to the SAM, perforated but no flow (tight rock area, minimal fractures?) maybe even due to hitting a tar mat?

The RNS wording should be interesting.

LOL.

We keep telling you morons the data from years ago is now completely worthless and irrelevant. By all accounts it has failed. You can miss at shaiCON which has shrunk massively. Huge ramifications that will affect the Reserves and of course the 6 years wait for the fabled 55k a day. I did say that the Jurassic had issues and was nowhere as good as you desperately hope it is. One asset and one zone and even that's now failing.

What will they do with S14 now?

Laters suckers:-)
