That's the second results announcement in a row that sounds like a GKP is a normal kind of company, with things happening, good news, and plenty of optimism. I'm beginning to think that not all Jons are the same.

Just a little point from today's RNS 😃

John doesn't mention anything about the 2 workover ESP's ???

It does show them in the presentation on the website ???

He does mention an average of 5k per well expected.

So plus 10k onto 43k makes 53k that's not 55k.

I'll stick my neck out and say that they won't make 55k by the 1st December.

Another point 😂 I said FDP by the end of September (let's forget that I knew they were working on it) Q4 1st October 🤷‍a94;️

Isn't it PF2 that has loads of spare capacity ???

I wonder why they are not working over more wells on that side 😂

My future prediction.Share buyback of 13 million shares.Dividend of 120m dollars per year 87m pounds. Divide 200m shares.Yearly dividend of 44p /4 quarters so 11p every 3 months.

FDP

The FDP has to be approved by ALL stakeholders and the KRG ( and any potential buyer ) They have to comment on it , then back to square 1 to approve the changes. 6 months or so is about typical for the approval process.

IMO its been approved and is being with held for political or some other reason. i.e a buyer.

GKP's principle asset is in Kurdistan - the company says former difficulties with the
local government are in the past. Revenues rose 162% to $131 million.

The company points out that with dividends of 100 million the stock is yielding 22%
and says the cash on the balance sheet is there for future growth.

..new chief executive Jon Harris reported a half-year profit of $65 million compared to a loss of $33 million last time.

'That's a far cry from a few years ago when the firm was a go-go stock popular with City traders, London cabbies and telly people alike ;-)
