It's starting to look as though that 150k order put through yesterday has cleared the log jam. Blue finish today?

P.S. It also tells you how tight the real free stock is. 7 days to fill 152k?

SOLD TBA NEXT WEEKWe(CNPC) signed a joint sales implementation agreement in 2017, then spent 2 years modelling SHAIKAN.Gkp agreed not to expand the field during this period ( fitting ESP etc) as we wouldn't have been able to measure natural pressure gradients and an accurate scale of reserves. We have done well logs and of course fracture studies, and as we document in the public domain, SHAIKAN recovery levels are far higher than the existing CPR......We agreed a price,The legals are done, our people are on the exec board, and we complete via short form amalgamation ANNOUNCED next week.

Crude Oil Futures: Imminent bounce?
CME Group’s preliminary readings for Crude Oil futures markets noted open interest shrunk for yet another session on Tuesday, this time by around 20.7K contracts. Volume, instead, reversed two daily pullbacks in a row and went up sharply by around 850.1K contracts, the largest single day build so far this year.

WTI poised for a rebound in the near-term
Prices of the WTI dropped markedly on Tuesday and closed well below the critical $60.00 mark per barrel. The strong decline, however, was amidst the broader downtrend in open interest, which is indicative that the continuation of the leg lower appears unlikely at least in the very near-term.

I well remember the now departed John Stafford telling us all ~ 6 years ago that it would take another 5 years to get a handle on the Potential of Shaikan.

Its a myth to assume that you need to drill dozens of wells to do so. What you actually do is drill a number of wells in strategic locations then use Random Number Probability software ( Monte Carlo Simulation ) to model the reservoir ( using the downhole data from the wells / and siesmic survey results ) and you end up with a range of possible probable reserves. Typically P90/P50 and P10 outcomes but actually any P number you wish . Where P = Probability.

The parameters of the model can be easily changed to "stress" test the results. It can be time consuming because you typically run upwards of 10000 iterations of the model

Another exciting night on the GKP Board I see . All these imaginary issues by Doggie have been addressed many times in the past . Go back and read them.

Then this

"The last house sold on the avenue was no2 a couple of doors down which went in Nov 18 for £120k" "

OM63 and his niece (Macfly) are so terrified of being confronted by irate PI's that they have 12 security cameras all round the property and Macfly sits glued to a 40 ins screen watching them - ALL DAY.

Not my idea of heaven. Its pathetic .

Was it all worth it ?
