" were very clear a few months ago that the company and the hosts obviously don't consider another well looking for a gas cap as important."

Another well looking for a gas cap Bigdog is only important if the plan is to re-inject the gas. I think that's obvious as you can't re-inject the gas without finding the gas cap.

"They also explained very clearly that the hosts aren't at all concerned about the gas flaring problem and that they were happy for the company to continue to do it."

The hosts are happy to see flaring continue until a suitable solution is implemented either by re-injection or by processing and sweetening the gas as the air quality is within permissible limits.

If they weren't happy then tough, the only alternative then would be to stop production.

"emissions comply with KRG regulations on air quality."

And you are right we "explained all that very clearly."

Is that clear enough for you now.

What is clear Bigdog is that you haven't a clue about oilfield development.

I note the oil price has had a right mullering today. The share price ought to follow tomorrow purely on the logic that it increased to absurd heights solely because of the rising oil price. But that was before a huge reserves downgrade turned up and the 55k a day retreating even further into 2022.

Its going to require an enormous amount of jam delivered at annual report time and a divi just to keep the Insti's on board this year now imho. No progress till end of 2021, falling oil price and the Iraq Govt bringing up that Erbil is "violating the constitution" in reference to the failure to get and oil agreement across the line looks incredibly serious.

Just saying like.

"You are aware that the MNR requires the gas well before they get a revised FDP"

Mac, why are you wasting your time discussing another gas well with the moron?

HabSCUM and highlander7 were very clear a few months ago that the company and the hosts obviously don't consider another well looking for a gas cap as important. They also explained very clearly that the hosts aren't at all concerned about the gas flaring problem and that they were happy for the company to continue to do it.

habSCUM and highlander7 also went to great lengths to explain that another well looking for the gas cap was very low down on their priorities and just wasn't an issue that needed addressing any time soon.

Its a well known fact that they change their arguments and lie about "knowing stuff" when in fact they get everything wrong and have to make up BS and excuses.

Its also a well known fact that habSCUM goes back and alters his BS and that highlander7 just deletes all his worthless posts out of sheer embarrassment.

Empty vessels just like the empty Kozel barrels.

Agree NOR Biden obviously believes that all this Leftie PC BS he believes in will translate to Iraq. Kinda like doggie thinking he understands the O&G Industry after 10 years of watching back episodes of Dallas on Netflix and Macfly - a Telephone Receptionist trying to make us all believe she is Reservoir Engineer ?

Shades of delusional fantasy ?

"Shall I get into down hole pressures drainage radius the matrix and the possibilities of dragging water into the fractures ???
Or will this become a little too technical for you ???"

Yes Tony you should get into it, good idea, throw up what you've got along with your analysis and I'll take a look.

But why are you changing the subject, what has that stuff got to do with the fact that if they're going to drill another re-injection well to find the gas cap then it needs to be done before the submission of the FDP and not after, which is what you were talking about.

Shall I get into down hole pressures drainage radius the matrix and the possibilities of dragging water into the fractures ???

Don't mention ESP's as the solution 😂

Then we shouldn't think of if no gas then where is it going and the implications of that.

Or will this become a little too technical for you ???

THE US AMBASSADOR TALKS ABOUT BIDEN’S STRATEGY IN IRAQ: THE ECONOMY IS A PRIORITY

Baghdad / National News Center

The US ambassador in Baghdad, Matthew Tueller, spoke today, Tuesday, about US President Joe Biden's strategy in Iraq, while noting that the economy is a priority.

In a statement received by the National News Center, Tueller said, "President Biden, like his predecessors, is committed to building Iraq so that ISIS does not return again."

He added, "We have to raise the importance of our ambitions in dealing with climate change, which is a real problem in Iraq."

And he continued, "The economic crisis resulting from Covid 19 will return to pose a threat to the national security interests of the United States in the event that the pandemic is not controlled worldwide."

He indicated his support for "Iraq's efforts in the urgent need to diversify its economy, which is currently dependent on oil."

He expressed his hope that "Iraq's plans to diversify the economy from paper will turn into reality, and we appreciate the leadership of Finance Minister Ali Allawi in these issues," adding that "diversifying the economy is essential in creating a viable private sector and providing jobs."

He pointed out that "part of the diversification of the Iraqi economy includes diversifying Iraq's energy sources by reducing Iraq's losses from gas associated with oil, developing clean energy and connecting with electric lines to neighboring countries, which will reduce pollution and Iraq's dependence on its neighbor in the East."

He continued, "We encourage the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government to cooperate on energy issues."

The American ambassador added, "We will continue to be the steadfast partner that Iraq relies on in combating corruption, economic reform, improving relations with neighboring countries, providing advice to Iraqi forces in combating terrorism and supporting efforts to control militias."

"We intend to participate in talks on the Iranian nuclear program and address other issues such as Iran's financial support for militias, its destabilizing behavior in the region, its ballistic missile program and its human rights record," he said.

He pointed out that "President Biden intends to dialogue with Iran for the benefit of the United States, Iran and Iraq without sacrificing Iraqi sovereignty or security to achieve this."

He pointed out that "the importance of human rights in our foreign policy will increase, and we will defend the right of activists and political opponents to speak freely without fear of retaliation."

He believed that "militia attacks are a threat to Iraqis, Americans and the coalition forces against ISIS and diplomacy in the region."

He concluded by noting that "the upcoming Iraqi elections are a turning point in Iraqi democracy," adding that "allowing international observers will increase confidence in the Iraqi elections and prevent the recurrence of limited participation in the 2018 elections, which caused the parties affected by Iran to reach parliament."

SOLD TBA NEXT WEEKWe(CNPC) signed a joint sales implementation agreement in 2017, then spent 2 years modelling SHAIKAN.Gkp agreed not to expand the field during this period ( fitting ESP etc) as we wouldn't have been able to measure natural pressure gradients and an accurate scale of reserves. We have done well logs and of course fracture studies, and as we document in the public domain, SHAIKAN recovery levels are far higher than the existing CPR......We agreed a price,The legals are done, our people are on the exec board, and we complete via short form amalgamation ANNOUNCED next week.
