Just been told about this from Forza's Cretaceous reservoir.

Highlights of the report for Forza Petroleum’s gross (working interest) oil reserves and resources volumes in the Hawler license area as at December 31, 2020, as compared to the equivalent estimates prepared by NSAI as at December 31, 2019 (the “2019 NSAI Report”), include:

Proved plus probable oil reserves decrease to 62 million barrels (“MMbbl”) from 103 MMbbl:

NSAI’s year-end evaluation of our reserves and resources resulted in a 40% reduction of 2P oil reserves, resulting primarily from revised estimates of the original-oil-in-place in the Cretaceous reservoir in the east fault block of the Banan field and the ultimate recovery achievable from several reservoirs in the area. Smaller reductions in other reservoirs resulted from depletion of previously booked reserves and minor adjustments to development plans.

On Thursday, the second deputy speaker, Bashir Al-Haddad, ruled out passing the budget bill for 2021, at next week's session.

Al-Haddad said in a press interview, that "it is difficult to pass the financial budget in next Monday's session, because the Federal Court law has not yet been approved."

Al-Haddad added, "The parliament presidency must set another session for the budget, for the purpose of voting on it."

Last Monday, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi directed the inclusion of the budget bill on the agenda of next Monday’s session, based on a request submitted by Representative Yusef al-Kalabi and signed by 150 deputies.

2021 Oil Price Forecasts Ramped Higher

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) and Standard Chartered both increased their oil price forecasts for 2021 this week.

According to its March Short Term Energy Outlook (STEO), the EIA now sees Brent spot prices averaging $60.67 per barrel and WTI spot prices averaging $57.24 per barrel this year. In its February STEO, the EIA projected that Brent spot prices would average $53.20 per barrel and WTI spot prices would average $50.21 per barrel in 2021. Standard Chartered outlined that it had increased its 2021 average Brent and WTI oil price forecasts by $14 per barrel to $65 per barrel and $63 per barrel, respectively, in a report sent to Rigzone.

Extra Saudi Cut Sends OPEC Oil Production Plunging By 650,000 Bpd

OPEC’s crude oil production fell by 650,000 barrels per day (bpd) in February, due to the extra cut from top producer and de facto leader Saudi Arabia, the cartel’s Monthly Oil Market Report (MOMR) showed on Thursday.

According to secondary sources, which OPEC considers legitimate for measuring production and compliance, total oil production averaged 24.85 million bpd in February 2021, a drop by 650,000 bpd compared to January.
