The oil industry in the Middle East is so dependent on 'the shuffler' in his beige pleated polyester trousers!

You should be very concerned that we are working behind the scenes.

It's rather nice when McFlid is elsewhere. Probably shuffling about the High Street in his C&A menswear clothing looking for the best deal on lavatory roll....

France opening up air travel, should further support oil prices

The first buyback took 7/8 months day after day.Where did all that stock come from ?When it ended how many had they bought?Almost exactly the amount CAPITAL were "given" at restructuring for their convertible holding. That is not a coincidence. It was the beginning of the exit plan, which PW designed at restructuring

I hope their 3rd party has already bought back 25% plus On cancellation that boots remaining holders by 33%If they have got 30%That boots it 42% higher when canceledRight now each $bn paid at takeover= 3.40 quid/shareIf 25% bought in already and cancelled that becomes 4.65 quid

That's why they did the special resolution. The time to buy is when the mkt doesn't know, and as slowly as possible. That imo is what will soon be revealed at or pre takeover

Of the 41% outside top 10 imo a third-party holds a sizeable amount of those , hopefully 25% or more, that they have bought over a couple of years, that they have contracted to deliver to gkp , on exchange for an agreed cash payment

During the previous buybacks they emphasised how they were keeping within safe harbour regulations so I can't see them slipping up now. Here's stocko's take on what's required:

A safe harbor is a legal provision to sidestep or eliminate legal or regulatory liability in certain situations, provided that certain conditions are met. The phrase safe harbor also has uses in the finance, real estate, and legal industries.21 Nov 2020

Read the resolution June 2019 where the board sought authority to acquire shares , without further resolution, on ANY TERMS THEY SEE FIT.This is OFF market stuff That would include asking a third party, like a investment bank, to gently stake build , and they would pay when the stock was transferred officially. it would include CFD, it would include asr , accelerated share repurchase schemes.

@ CNPC_LOVES_GKP 625816

If they buyback without informing the market, there are in breach of the LSE rules.

The market cap should be double, considering reserves and cash in bank, Plus if oil remains stable throughout the year
