The company mentioned in RNS of 23rd November that they plan to issue an operational and corporate update in December, but I don't understand how some posters are stating "before 17th December" - where did this cutoff date come from?

Without the trollathon OAP and obviously the 3.5yr time it's taken for Gulf to get the deal DD'd and done it would not have been possible for huge stakes to be built so cheaply.Time is very very short

I believe you should. The reason being if they were confident of them they would be shouting about them from the mountain tops. So could it be they would rather not associate themselves with the reports and bragging from the past?

What makes him think that any "top oil industry executive" would join a tiny insignificant oil company trying to pump a few barrels of heavy oil in an area that continues to have enormous problems. Additional to that it ought to be crystal clear to all that the MNR/KRG call all the shots and decide everything and almost always in their favour. There's no upside for someone hoping to improve their CV as the last eleven years has proved. Just look at all those that have gone up against the MNR and what the result has been.

Its a poisoned chalice of massive proportions. JF joined for the asset. I doubt he would have bothered if he knew five years ago what he knows about the asset now even at his salary and bonus level. Aimho of course as a non "Industry expert".

But then again as is proved on a daily basis us non Industry types know way more than any of the delusional clowns here and we get our prediction correct all the time, innit.

To inform the market of production increase. (But of course that could do that in the general ops update that's in less than a month ;) )2. To alert all invested to major news coming soon but without giving a specific date3. To tell any competitors , you need to increase your offer , or you have lost SHAIKAN.

Been here for what seems a lifetime, Don't know why I'm getting excited this time, I'm going nowhere unless someone offers a substantial price. In the mean time I'll open another bottle of red and keep clear of all the Covid idiots:)
