City employees bash GKP for 20 hours every single day.

Such effort put in to put off PI's.

Happily buying more shares in GKP now.

"But as oil prices crashed, the region had to borrow as much as $3 billion from trading houses such as Vitol, Petraco, Glencore and Trafigura as well as neighbouring Turkey, repayable by future crude sales."

Bad news, as cash strapped government has excepted cash up front and will be paying the loan back with barrels pre paid at crash prices even though crude has risen.

The trading houses will now get over 100,000,000 barrels at $30, not bad.

The thing is Bob, I would've listened to all that 4 years ago and invested on the back of it. Oh, I did.

But the truth is, and you know it, is that the company is broken (and owned by others) and the country it resides in is fragile, corrupt and in a war (and afaiaa still needs to resolve the old iRaq/Kurdistan split post Isis).

Alongside this, the share price has been decimated and will never get past 3p old money... So where's the attraction now? If all of the above was true in a balanced environment (minus corruption, bond holders, Isis, Iraqi divisions, inconsistent reserve reporting etc etc) it would be a good investment - but it's not, and there are loads of better/safer companies out there that are.

tBH - Your list above just sounds like something you would regurgitate at a GKP Anonymous therapy group - isn't it time to get over the addiction and accept that it might not be all that you believe it is.

World class by who's standards? Not those who went in to the DR...

What a strange thing for RJCDC to say.

Here are the facts:

* positive cashflow

* over $100 million cash-at-bank

* two payments totalling $30M gross from the MNR made very recently

* production costs at $4 a barrel among the very lowest in the world

* easy path to 55,000 bopd

* GKP has 58% of Shaikan, which is second only to Kirkuk

* GKP is looking ahead to connecting Shaikan to the Feeder Pipeline and hence ceasing road tankering

* Capacity Building Tax on profit oil reduced from 40% to 30%

* payment due from MNR for their share of back-costs

* c. $500 million of Shaikan capital investment is recoverable, going forward, from production under the standard PSC Cost Recovery clause

* oil price significantly strengthened

* heavy oil now in real demand due to glut of light oil: key refineries need heavy oil

* capital programme to achieve 55,000 bopd is fundable from income

* there are suggestions that IOCs will begin selling their oil themselves later this year

* Rosneft move is a positive

* Shaikan is world-class

* Shaikan is a super giant

* Shaikan is onshore with relatively close-to-surface reservoirs

* Shaikan crude flows easily, even at surface in winter conditions (no wax)

* Shaikan is gas-drive

* Shaikan is dual-Porosity

* Shaikan has among the very highest Well Productivity Indices in the world

Is that enough?

Lmao, oilman, playing an idiot is hardly a challenge. If it weren't for the fact that Stockport idiot is such a deserved 'L'oser, shame on you almost for preying on the insecure malice and jealousy of the vulnerable.

Stockport idiot will now spend the next few days under his bed crying & ticking up his own avatars to make himself feel better.

Peshmerga militias wary of Hashd al-Shaabi build-up south of Kirkuk

Kirkuk: About 75 kilometres southwest of Kirkuk, Peshmerga commanders report a build-up of Hashd al-Shaabi forces that is worrying to the Kurdish militia forces. Noting that there is not a large IS presence in the area to justify the Shiite Hashd al-Shaabi numbers, “We believe that they have come here to fight the Peshmerga when IS is gone,” said Colonel Sirwan Muhammed, Peshmerga commander in the area. Some 1,200 Kurds have joined the Hashd al-Shaabi forces in the area. They do not believe they will be asked to fight the Peshmerga, saying they, in the Hashd, are not the enemy of Kurds. rudaw.net | Ekurd.net

Hey all you takeover merchants and rampers!!

I don't know why everyone's getting their knickers in a twist, I really don't.

I thought it was a well-known fact that not everyone was going to come out of this with mansions in Henley-On-Thames, yachts in Monte Carlo, and $12m apartments in New York.

Also remember that only one person at a time can be married to the wealthiest woman in Lithuania.

Just be thankful you live in a free world where you can volunteer to give your money to rich people, where they take it from you with big smiles and big promises, and when it turns out they have lied from start to finish there is nothing you can do except vent on a blog.

Just rejoice at that news!!
