03/2/2017 12:28 | Pipmilo on 3i's Its worth 300m because that's the fire sale price.the reason for that is no one is willing to buy into a company run by thieves and crooks .... and nobody's allowed to buy it while it merrily funds the KRG gravy train and associated biscuit barrels Don't Kill The Goose .................... There may or may not be any truth in Pipmilo's post. The depressing thing is that there is even a possibility of it being true. | owdbuffer

02/2/2017 21:26 | P.S. funny. the turks requested it. from iraq. Ofcourse it is a possibility they needed the extra capacity that would be freed up by the flow being halted from Iraq. Just saying | olieslim
02/2/2017 21:10 | lardner23, maybe this can explain it to an extent: 14:43 18/01/2017 Kirkuk oil for Turkish Cyhan stopped. WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18, 2017 Kirkuk oil for Turkish Cyhan terminal stopped 5:15 PM ADMIN Kirkuk/ Iraq TradeLink: Kirkuk provincial authorities announced that part of Kirkuk's exported oil was stopped due to the Turkish request for "technical error". Chairman of the provincial oil and energy commission Ahmed al-Askari added that 105.000 b/d were stopped since 17 January, 2017 upon the Turkish request. He expected the same will be done with the Kurdish oil exports, because both exports are done through the Kurdish oil pipeline. Al-Askari added that the production of oil in Kirkuk is "continuing". It was reported that the Kurdish government exports 600-650 thousand b/d, including the oil produced in Kirkuk oilfields. Posted in: Economy,Kirkuk,Minis -------------------- lardner231 Feb '17 - 16:36 - 533304 of 533417 1 0 Thanks, ss. It's not easy to tell from the graph, but it looks to be around 30k bbls per day on average, maybe higher. The pipeline problems didn't happen until mid-Feb, so no major disruption in January, as far as I know. So how come the payment for production for January 2016 was only $5.8m gross? hearts11 Feb '17 - 17:48 - 533315 of 533417 5 0 The $5.8m was gross - the 40% infrastructure tax on profit oil has to be taken into account. Of course Brent was at a low Jan 16 and the Kurd discount was high. Reality was they were producing oil for turnover, it wasn't commercial at those prices. lardner231 Feb '17 - 18:39 - 533317 of 533417 4 0 Agreed, hearts. I think the Brent average for Jan 16 was over $30, though, so some heavy discounting going on. I know these payment updates aren't mandatory, but GKP are probably the most opaque of the IOCs if you're trying to reconcile production to revenue. | olieslim
