The source isn't clear, Olieslim, so I'm filing it under 'rumour' for the time being. The article suggests bondholders are just starting to organise themselves. I'd say they've been organised, represented by a committee, since the BER issue, perhaps even before that.

As for some of the bondholders also shorting, well isn't that what hedging is all about?

The SA news is possibly the worst of the lot... And let's not forget no chance of a sale... Not even attractive enough for an offer. I'm surprised it hasn't fallen further tbh.

Still, at least we have a trickle of income before the guillotine comes down next year.

I seem to remember last week somebody posted there was a shortposition of 6m and one of 8m. Sothic was one of these.

And today this emerges:
