I seem to remember last week somebody posted there was a shortposition of 6m and one of 8m. Sothic was one of these.

And today this emerges:

"Bondholders including GLG Partners Inc., Sothic Capital Management LLP and Taconic Capital Advisors LP are working with Houlihan Lokey Inc. on Gulf Keystoneâ̈́4;™s debt restructuring options, people familiar with the matter said last month."

Can it be considered as open market manipulation?" Great find Rollup1. Does GKP have a NOMAD now that it's on the main list, or would it just come under the FCA directly now / could someone contact the FCA with this information? This seems entirely inappropriate (i.e. if they know some form of dilutive debt for equity swap is forthcoming, that is clear insider information). Vertigo: "So people working on debt restructuring are shorting the stock of the Company they're working on? No, that's not stock market manipulation. It's criminal." Ummm...yes. You realise that stock market manipulation is by definition criminal, right? Although I'd put this as insider trading rather than manipulation (potentially a combination of both).. P
