Maybe another session of parliament inbetween to discuss whether chocolate digestives or custard creams next time? ;o) |
None of it mattersThe company is obviously sold TBA |
Clear as mud mate! More biscuits then an other go on Tuesday! Apparently 1million dinars fine if they don't get out of bed! |

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) The Head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) faction in the Iraqi Parliament, Vian Sabri, revealed on Sunday that Shiite political parties have called for amendments to both Article 14 and Article 12 of the federal budget law. In an exclusive interview with Kurdistan24, Sabri explained that the Shiite parties are insisting on changes to both articles, with a particular focus on the entitlements of oil-producing provinces."Some Shiite factions have refused to amend only Article 12 of the budget law," Sabri stated. "They have insisted that both Article 12 and Article 14, which address the rights of oil-producing provinces, should be amended."Article 14 specifically concerns the financial entitlements of provinces that produce oil, and Sabri emphasized that the ongoing discussions are tied to the implementation of these entitlements by the Iraqi Ministry of Finance, rather than the specifics of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region. The Iraqi Parliament held a key session on Sunday to read and vote on several important bills, including amendments to the federal budget law. Among the eight items on the agenda, the proposed changes to the budget law were highlighted as a major point of focus. As the discussions continue, all eyes are on how these amendments might impact the relationship between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal Iraqi government, particularly regarding financial allocations and oil production entitlements. |
Old Trumper can claim it as his own on Tuesday ! |
And we think our lot are bad.. At least they don't do, well I don't like this law, think I wont turn up for the vote! |
Fill yer boots in the morning. |
Fact the finance committee accepted is a big fat positive....It will get voted through. Not that it mattersThe company is obviously sold TBA |
Whats another 2 days, we have all waited for years.
Not sure if stock will necessarily be cheaper, after all its not a no it will not go through.
It is a delay. |
Seems the most logical outcome now, on a plus will be able to pick up cheaper stock |
Maybe the PUK and The KRG engineered today to add to the sense of "ungovernable " as things stand strengthening the support for separation in line with their new KRG/PUK government agreements |
How much do these idiots get paid? |
It's a comedy show out there. Every man for himself. Far too hasty in suspending the ITP. No rules apply in Iraq. |
I agree but at what point does breach of contract become irrelevant? Nobody out there ever pays their fines etc in any case. |
The finance committee agreed on the latest version of article 12. Some deputies refused to vote to break the quorum because they know that the oil law will obtain the majority if the vote take place. the blocking MPs want to negotiate something before voting |
"You say September Habs, don’t be surprised if they say enough is enough and with the approval of Turkey plough ahead without SOMOs involvement very soon."
Hi ss, if Turkey loaded ships at Ceyhan without Baghdad's permission before September using any of the infrastructure covered by the ITP agreement they'd be in breach of contract again.
They can do nothing until September. |
It's all noise, the company has clearly agreed a sale TBA..... |
So.the outcome was no outcome as predicted. Independence has always and will be the end game. Only 7 months to wait and while picking up at least 2 dividends on the way. Independence route has and will bevthe right decision in the long run. |
From memory wasn't it PUK who boycotted 2nd vote in December? |
Would seem no mutual agreement will ever be agreed on |
