16/1/2011 21:13 | To be honest given all the headlines in the last two weeks of food shortages and the current price of corn in no way am I surprised at the share price fall. | cerrito
14/1/2011 14:53 | you could be right - it does seem bonkers. | spaceparallax
14/1/2011 14:25 | Amazed to see this drop in price, but given it is on negligible volume I'm not overly concerned and wonder if it an attempt to tease out weak holders. | workshy fop
14/1/2011 09:53 | Let's hope so, I'm surprised at the share price drift. | spaceparallax
13/1/2011 18:32 | Will we get an update this month? | caveat_emptor

13/1/2011 15:52 | Very interesting information on the AA website, making continental drivers aware that every service station in france now has an E pump!!! | caveat_emptor
31/12/2010 20:21 | Given the travails of PEIX (Pacific Ethanol) with its NASDAQ listing maybe not the huge difference you would wish? | aceuk
31/12/2010 14:14 | alternative energy is a well recognised sector in the USA they have firms that follow nothing else apart from Noble here I can think of no single energy analyst that is a pure specialist in alternative energy. A US quote would make a huge difference in my view | chairman2
31/12/2010 12:26 | I'm seeing all declared Buys so far and yet the share price declines - do wish the offloaders would get done with it. | spaceparallax
29/12/2010 11:44 | Must have one of out instis PTing again. Wish I had some spare cash to hoover a few more up. | spaceparallax
23/12/2010 21:42 | It's a lot to do with having a strong broker giving strong support - - probably Cenkos are not the right people. Listing in New York generally makes no difference except you invite a wider audience from both sides of the argument. Regards ethanol, though we are on the way, the battle is far, far from won. | aceuk
23/12/2010 21:32 | my money is on company dropping the useless AIM primary quote and re- (ex?) patriating company to its natural home in the USA. Look how SOLA shares flew after they did that. | chairman2
23/12/2010 20:31 | They are not Gartmore's shares to sell! | aceuk
23/12/2010 15:06 | But a bid is very likely nonetheless... very tempting for someone to take the block off gartmore, if they have'nt already!!1 | caveat_emptor
22/12/2010 20:04 | 3. Full name of person(s) subject to the notification obligation: Gartmore Investment Limited -------------------- 4. Full name of shareholder(s) (if different from 3.): See attached schedule I do not see attached schedule but am pretty sure they are not directly held shares but nominee. More interesting maybe but no bid .... not from Gartmore anyway. | aceuk
22/12/2010 17:55 | or maybe Gartmore is for sale and therefore a potentially weak holder? and just maybe we wont get a proper valuation until G's shares are disposed of? The Hayseeds and Cornpones (Illinos River Farmers) could always buy it off the market and that threat may also deter professional investors. | chairman2
22/12/2010 12:57 | Maybe thats whats been holding it back all this time ? | bsg
22/12/2010 11:34 | That's 16% or so holding that added to Gartmore makes a takeover very possible, at a nice profit for the troubled institution? | nearlybroke2
20/12/2010 17:05 | Great!!! Santa can give the reindeers a rest this year and retrofit an old Chrylsr engine from 2006 and run it on E85? | nearlybroke2

20/12/2010 07:43 | That is very good news as I thought they were going to reduce the amount of credit. | ducatiman
20/12/2010 07:24 | GTL Resources PLC ("GTL") Favorable Extension of Ethanol Tax Incentives GTL Resources PLC (AIM: GTL), the US based bio-refining company, with a 100 million gallon per annum nameplate volume ethanol plant in Illinois, is pleased to comment on the recent US legislation signed into law 17 December 2010 by President Barack Obama extending key ethanol tax incentives. The new law extends key ethanol tax provisions including: Blender's Credit for Ethanol (VEETC) The bill extends the Volumetric Ethanol Excise Tax Credit through 2011 at the current rate of 45 cents per gallon. Tariff on Imported Ethanol The bill also extends through 2011 the existing 54 cent per gallon secondary tariff on imported ethanol. Richard Ruebe, CEO of GTL Resources PLC, commented "We are delighted and reassured that the US Congress and President Obama have chosen to continue its support of the ethanol incentive programs that have nurtured the growing US ethanol industry. We believe the extension of the ethanol tax incentives should continue to encourage our customers to blend ethanol above the minimum volumes prescribed in the Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS2), which calls for base renewable fuel blend stock (corn based ethanol) to increase 0.6 billion gallons each year, from 12 billion gallons in 2010 to 15 billion gallons by 2015 and thereafter. This news, along with the USEPA's recent October 2010 announcement allowing 15% ethanol blending in 2007 and newer model year vehicles (an increase from 10% blending), shows US law-makers and the Obama administration clearly recognize the positive long-term benefits of ethanol to the environment, to energy security, and to the economy. This one year extension will give the upcoming 2011 US Congress adequate time to evaluate the merits of all US energy incentives, including the significant incentives supporting fossil fuels, as they tackle longer term energy tax policy reform." | saint or sinner?
18/12/2010 15:36 | I don't understand how a company like Gartmore would want to build up such a very high %? Comment anyone? | nearlybroke2
