Aneeta - I guess if you've bought in at 1300p, you would only get excited when you're breaking even. As for me, I have no position at the moment.

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - GlaxoSmithKline's shares at 11.05am were at
1,219 pence, a rise of 58 pence, or 5 pct, after the company's recent
acquisition of Reliant Pharmaceuticals for 1.65 bln usd.
Evolution Securities said that GSK's strategy of paying for existing sales
and profits through bolt-on acquisitions is sensible following setbacks with
Avandia.
The company does not lack pipeline products but "faces a loss of top-line
momentum" because of Avandia. Reliant's Lovaza could be a 500 mln usd product
within three years if growth rates in the lipids-lowering market meet
expectations," Evolution said.
Panmure Gordan left its 'hold' rating unchanged, but said that the stock is
a trading buy.

yeh 1750p would be nice - am long also - totally oversold imho - good time to make US acquisition given pounds strength - and its defensive qualties deserve some merit in this market surely

Looking good, this stock must re-rated should be 1750p.
