Thx for the advice, and I must admit it my heart is telling me we should be easily back over 1300p by the year end. However, if I sell, I will probably buy one of the banks with the proceeds. (RBS looks dirt cheap)

Lets see what tomorrow brings.

i bought a good chunk at 1230 last week. it seems a long wait. but i'd be happy for a 13p ex-dividend next week.

When I left the company at end of 1998 I sold a slug of my shares for £22. The FTSE index was about where it is now. This does not represent a good share price performance over this 9 year period, although the dividend has certainly risen. JPG should be made to respond to the question of share price decline, and not to be allowed to point to eps which is heavily boosted by share buy back.

Only a couple of years ago GSK was 1100 - the year before 1000 - so 1200 isn't - relatively speaking - as ridiculously low as some have stated. I still expect to see 1150 by Xmas - certainly sub 1200 by end of next week...

Amazing recovery I see £15 by 2010 easily, if not 2011.

Closed at 1240p. Could have been alot worse with an intraday low of 1223p. Lets see what tomorrow brings...
