Alan, yes I have and I think we are just in a dry period and people are nervous. There's a news dry period take GGP 2000 percent up last year can't blame people who may be feeling nervous selling. Roll on March. :-)Zoo

Zoo GGP was up a bit today whether it will build on that tomorrow is anybodies guess ,it’s the same with GUN it doesn’t usually rise after an up day, I’m waiting for AAU to take off I’m sure it will one day, managed to book a hairdressing appointment on line and got the first day they are open, 12th April , Wall Street has turned and on the rise, so just maybe all will be well in the morning ,good luck,

Tinn, I think you have a little bit of breathing space with GGP. Things will / should start to move in March as the temperature starts to ease and the drilling ramps up lots of things kicking off as well.GGP has never been a linier share with its share price Zoo

Jumped into GUN this morning so in that for the long run now, still holding off on GGP at the moment, haven't made my mind up on that one so going to watch it a bit more. GFM has been having fun today, hopefully things will settle down as the week progresses.

zoo I would hope GFM will be up tomorrow surely they can’t hold the price down any longer, looks like getting back to normal won’t happen until June 21st ,if the weather is as good as it was today I can cope, I’ve only just shut the balcony door since this morning, I’m very hopeful with GUN I’ve read some good write ups once again it will take time but very good to sit on ,good luck

Alan, looks like GUN and PRE are doing well today so I'm pleased I didn't sell PRE on Friday. Zinc is holding its price and gold is up which is good would have liked Griffin to hold its price but tomorrow is another day. :-)Zoo

Only Gordon Brown, famous for bringing and end to the boom-and-bust economic cycle amongst other things, would announce an asset sale in advance.

JPPP that’s why I am giving it away to my friends as fast as I can, I’m now to old to need it anymore, I intend to spread as much happiness as I can ,my friends have been really good to myself and my late wife ,nothing much happening on my shares today although GUN is doing really well, I hope GFM will pull its socks up soon mind you I’m not surprised it has always been a difficult share to read, good luck

Something to do with what happened in the US, protecting their position.

Any idea why IG would remove these stocks from their list?

Who else will they vote for? The old saying "all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" applies here. Disgruntled supporters may not turn out to vote, as happened in the Georgia Senate races, allowing an underdog party to win.

I've added, it's not often you get chances like these to take advantage. IG will be a blip.

I don't think I can post it here, copyright etc but i read a great article the other day that suggested the National debt isn't as bad as we think. It chimed for me. the debt it issued to the BoE, so we still own the debt. Debt is rolling off. the BoE has made money on the debt it has bought, as rates have gone down, the "assett" they own has gone up in value. You couldn't make it up! But some truth to it. I don't know the numbers but I can see the logic. That said, more tax is coming, ,mostly to the rich, and probably studiously not regressive taxes, Osborne wasn't shy of taxing "his own", who else will they vote for? I think we'll see more of the same... GLA. Some great comments and thoughts recently. JPP

Can't give advice. If we could we don't know enough of your personal situation. GFM seems to be worth up to 4 times what it was worth on Christmas Eve - no new licence, no resources upgrade, no increase in purchases by big holders etc. The zinc price is rapidly rising and is at a level that should enable GFM to make big profits. I believe the price could easily be 380p discounted a little bit by the risk of being a company in China. DYOR

Sage, the government will need to be very careful with what they do for various reasons. A lot of people voted for them from the Labour camp because of Brexit. They have a new leader, again people voted away because of Corbyn. The way the government has handled Covid has not been to everyone's liking. I appreciate they have to recover money but to hit back hard with a heavy Budget may make them unelectable and they won't want that. I can see the likes of self employed NI going up, general taxation retirement age put up again in fact a whole host of things. Again though they will be aware that if they hit to hard and people need to claim benefit it will be self defeating. The one thing they will want is to win the next election again. IMHOZoo

Not bleeding hearts for me just pure pragmatism. I want my family to be safe and if that means giving a little bit extra to fund a pandemic then it’s a price worth paying. The people who benefit most from peace and civil order are the wealthy ( check it out for yourself). So paying a little extra to preserve that peace an order is money well spent. It is just a question of balance.

So should I double down. Do you have a list of other Companies impacted. Bango for example?

IG index have listed 1,000 stocks they will no longer be offering s/bets on. Griffin is one of them. As of this morning GFM has gone to Closing Only. anyone with a bet position in GFM will have to have 100% margin in place by Wednesday else, they will be closed out. Many retail punter favourites are getting clobbered today as a result. Once this forced selling is completed on Wednesday, I'd suggest this will snap back rapidly
