As you know zoo I am very worried about HSBC ,it’s such a difficult one because they are all in ISAs and tessa’s ,every company could be in some sort of trouble ,I did ask invest direct about them which was a bit cheeky and they said hold ,and that’s what I have done ,at least Nat grid has gone down which gives me a wry smile ,Taylor Wimpey was ever so slightly up , and I’m happy to stay put there ,as for bango it says it is up a lot but when you look on the ADVFN site they have it dropping quite a bit at the close ,to be honest I have found ADVFN a total mess today ,they actually have had HSBC at 53p all day ,lets hope they get there act together tomorrow ,

Alan, my trades in GGP are based on the fact they are in Australia out in the bush type area prospecting / proving a resource as against lets say GFM where the Government can just say "closed down" and that's it until they say otherwise. Granted the Australians can place restrictions. Then Boris today has basically said? that we're going to be hit, which most people already know. This is far from over. All we need it a tech hit on the banks. Not good.Zoo

Alan, my view is take profit and leave some for others. But you know what is like its easy to make silly comments. Some of us are here to make money. Cant believe how trolls you get on ADVFN. I see the MMs brought the price more or less back to the open on GGP I suspect they're expecting some sort of update, maybe tomorrow hence the warrants RNS today.Zoo

"Barring an October 2008 plunge of 14.6%, every
sell-off of 10% or more over five trading sessions
has led to positive returns just two weeks after
the fall, according to hedge fund analytics tool
Kensho."

Alan, RENE is news driven always has been. I've traded GGP this morning and sold the lot then bought back via the ISA. Looking to get a sell in this afternoon and have a sell order in place. If I cant get it in today they may lift the share price in the morning for a cheeky sell. But not a good time for shares given the volatility fortunately I can route everything via the phone so at least I can keep an eye on things. Zoo

Alan, I see BGO is up I should have gone with it on Friday but given the way the markets are at the moment?I've sold GGP again from both the ISA and Trading account and have set up the price alerts again. Like you I'm not sure if the market will hold.Zoo

Being so old sage/up I feel I’ve been left behind ,remember when I grew up there was no TV or even telephones ,I can remember going to buy shares at the bank and you would hand the money over and they would write the certificate out and give it to you ,I can even remember farthings , and a five pound note was massive and it was white ,I wouldn’t like to go back to that but still feel that I don’t fit in now ,the sixties was the best for me it was really liberating ,I had a fantastic time ,good luck to you and let’s hope we have a reasonable week ,

UP, you are clearly one one tonight. I think you're being cynical! However the definition of a cynic is "An idealist who is a Realist" and you are more than likely right!I don't disagree agree with you at all in what you've said. :-)As for social media FB etc of which ADVFN is part of as well, as you say its .......I see that woman is stopping the Queen and Philip seeing their grandchild, that speaks volumes! I wonder if there is any historical connection between her and Wallis S?Zoo

Hi Up, totally agree. The BBC brought you Jimmy Saville and have been infected by politically correct left wing nonsense. They now try to make the news rather than report it. Extremely sad. We now live in a tolerant society and it is right they people should be respected for who they are irrespective of gender or race. The BBC wish to go beyond this on a number of levels and have lost respect.
