20/12/2018 16:43 | Excuse me but is this the season of goodwill? Do hope that everyone's not so whingey and disrespectful next year! | ewads
20/12/2018 16:20 | A person who is intolerant of any other ideas apart from their own. Spot on neville you got him one shot | up just a little bit
20/12/2018 15:58 | The good thing about Griffin is its one of the few investments that's still gold backed, speaking of which what ever happened to that gold tie pin Griffin promised me ??? | burnchat
20/12/2018 15:51 | Good luck sage, you will soon have as many as ive got, don't think that phillis will get her pound at Christmas, | alangrifbang

20/12/2018 15:11 | Sageman, I'm not ROSE and I have previously been an iii poster many many years ago, probably before you were on that site. I am not nasty. I have pointed out that there should be respect for others views and said as much in my last post. That is not nasty just read it again. I actually said that some posters WERE able to accept differing opinions and pointed out that this has happened from both sides. Pray what is wrong with that? | up just a little bit
20/12/2018 14:40 | Threatening behavior is a crime. That is actually what they call it when they charge you. So tell us, what is the purpose of your tracking someone down? One of the things schoolyard bullies have to come to terms with on the internet is that people are immune to physical intimidation. It sounds like you are finding this frustrating. | rose_by_another_name
20/12/2018 14:39 | O come on all yea Faithful, we should be joyful and triumphant, its been a fantastic year for GFM and we have all done very well indeed. Lets not spoil it with mindless chat. Good will to all men and if we are extra specially nice the BOD may treat us to a F&M hamper, to share between us of course ... | burnchat
20/12/2018 14:35 | "many iii posters have had civilised debate of differing views in the past" But that's not how you have behaved here. You want credit for civilized behavior in another forum while throwing your weight around and denigrating established posters on a forum you have invaded rather than joined, and you think you are entitled to bring your fine reputation with you and be automatically respected by people who never heard of you before, while telling them they are clueless. | rose_by_another_name
20/12/2018 14:32 | Remember this in July? "Over the last five years, whilst we have actively pursued the new mining licence, the relevant regulations have changed several times resulting in substantial delays in the final licencing application. We are delighted to say that we have finally been able to see the light at the end of this very long tunnel. Stay tuned." Not convinced yet that any news will be forthcoming Zinc price not going anywhere - where is(are) the driver(s)? On the sidelines for now hoping for a Christmas rally of a few pence | phillis
20/12/2018 13:51 | Is that a tip for a new IPO? | up just a little bit
20/12/2018 13:29 | Tittle Tattle... | burnchat

20/12/2018 12:16 | Sage, You are your own worst enemy. Just again you cant help yourself spinning the broken record of iii's failure and your "length of service" and the poor relations here on advfn. If you stopped and looked in the mirror you will note that we have all been here for over a decade as well but we don't seek point scoring for that fact. We have opinions some of which your esteemed colleagues from iii have agreed with others not. This is the same for all the posters here some of your chat we agree with and some we don't. You have a very hard time accepting that and you are loathed to see any other point of view other than your own. If you have indeed been taking investment exams and qualifying as someone who is able to give advice then you really really need to change and have some respect and stop using your broad brush to tarr all and sundry with your lack of understanding. I don't see you getting any repeat business once this news hits of your blinkered outlook and your lack of a ability to compromise or at the very least have respect for other investors who have differing opinions. | up just a little bit
20/12/2018 11:57 | So BC is another three-eyed refugee? I didn't know, and I didn't call him anything, just noted the calligraphic ambiguity. I'm sure he's a nice chap. As for the rest of your post- it is not your insight that is spurned, but your arrogance and intolerance of the views of others. Whatever you used to be on some abandoned forum, you arrived here full of yourself and dismissive of others, some of whom have been posting here for over a decade. The really telling point for me is how hurt you are about it. Kind of fun to poke at that. Now for Griffin: I think we all agree about the potential. It ought to be flying. Where Your insight has failed is that you don't understand why the share price continually peaks and falls back. Those who drive the price up on good news are looking for capital gain. They aren't going to hold, and there is no reason to. No one is buying if they don't see more gain, because there is no yield. That means not only that the share tanks over and over again, but that the price never reaches the potential indicated by fundamentals because there are no buyers as it approaches the top. This may suit your way of "investing", but it is really a speculative strategy. Many investors will not touch a share with no yield. | rose_by_another_name
20/12/2018 11:28 | Burnchat sadly This is another example of rudeness being displayed towards iii posters. Rose called you BUM CHAT basically implying you talk out of your back side. The fact that I started posting on this share 12 years ago and was regarded as a bit of a Newbie with many posters from III having posted far longer is not appreciated here. The wealth of insight and expertise that iii posters have to offer is spurned as opposed to being embraced. I find it bizarre because one would expect the opposite reaction. | sageman
20/12/2018 11:06 | We're conversing? I thought you were firing randomly into the crowd. | rose_by_another_name

20/12/2018 09:59 | It was like watching someone run headlong into a Brick wall when, The man with a pink gun posted. Does he not know that most of Griffins holders don't wake up till gone 11, and as for selling shares well they'd have to fight their way through the cob webs and significant inches of dust by which time they usually forget what they are doing and head off down to the gentleman's club instead... | burnchat
20/12/2018 09:17 | As Warren Buffet says be fearful when others are greedy, be greedy when others are fearful.Times like these are a godsend for long term investors who can ride out the volatility and acquire good companies far cheaper than earlier in the year. It is not fill you boots time ( I would need to see the S&P below 2000 for that) but an opportunity to drip money in to carefully researched targets. GFM is one of mine and I will continue to rebuild my holding bit by bit. | sageman |
