12/5/2018 05:08 | So 2 x 25k shares purchased, but 65k held in treasury?? Has there been another 15k purchased or someone is not very good at maths | buster18
10/5/2018 14:42 | I'm surprised Simon Thomson hasn't picked up on the value in GFM. I'd have thought they fitted his Benjamin Graham style perfectly. | makinbuks
09/5/2018 14:08 | The company is making circa 3p a month hardly hype. Having said that I have sold some recently and think a dividend would be more beneficial at this point than share buy backs. | ukgeorge
09/5/2018 11:05 | Simon at the IC is wise not to participate in the hype . | roddiemac2
08/5/2018 22:26 | Token at best. A complete embarrassing episode in keeping with the calibre of the BOD of GFM | up just a little bit
08/5/2018 17:32 | Wasn't much of a buy-back. Compare to new shares issued on options. | rose_by_another_name
08/5/2018 13:56 | Share buybacks could actually be better for shareholders than dividends if there's to be a rise in profits. Never the less the lack of transparency on the BOD's intentions doesn't help. MF is probably in the majority in not wanting a dividend other than to support the price, but that's the whole point. If they became a dependable dividend payer over a few years there would be a natural re rating even without a new licence. For instance that was the logic of the IC sale note | makinbuks
08/5/2018 09:32 | I don't care, mine are not in an ISA so the total return is all I care about, though agree dividends may be a more effective way of supporting the SP, though I wonder whether assets are being kept back to show funding is in place for zone 2, if that is ever being considered? | mad foetus
08/5/2018 09:15 | And the downside is that they will say they are creating value for share holders in that way so will not do a dividend. | up just a little bit
08/5/2018 09:11 | Interesting that GFM has started buying its own shares. Clearly there is more value here | mad foetus
08/5/2018 08:37 | For those on here who like dividends which seem like most try KAPE, special dividend soon. EH9 did you buy into KAPE? when I pointed them out at around 90p- 100p, they will multi bag IMO ,up again today .Aqusitions being finalised at the moment. My favoured stock at the moment apart from GFM is KAPE which has good momentum and sells cyberscurity. They are giving out a special dividend in May which is over 3% Special Dividend Following our robust performance this year and significant adjusted cashflow from operations of $7.6 million the board has declared a special dividend of 4.93 US$ cents per share, amounting to a total of $7.0 million. This is the first special dividend the Company has issued....as a result shareholders will receive 3.55 pence per share. The special dividend will become payable on 13 June 2018 to those shareholders on the Company's register as at the record date of 25 May 2018. The ex-dividend date is 24 | malcolmmm

02/5/2018 16:44 | That would be a "no" from me, but of course I have no idea what you are talking about. | rose_by_another_name
02/5/2018 12:33 | BEM appoints CSA? CN/RG former BEM directors? BEM needs a shedload... GFM have a shedload... what'd ya say? | tygwyg

01/5/2018 09:02 | When I was about 22 ish I went on a 10 day holiday to Italy. It was when gold was testing $1,000 for the first time, I had about 70 spread bets on about £45k in the account. Most had about 30% margin before the stop losses would get hit. Obviously the sh1t hit the fan about 30 of the bets got closed out and losy about £20-25k. Turned out to be an expensive holiday... Live and learn. :) | ukgeorge
30/4/2018 21:22 | Looks like holidays can be both good and bad. Back today and see that my conservatism in closing positions here before heading off has cost me dear (i closed at 132p). However, i always find it is better to be safe than sorry when margin trading and i did bank a decent profit. | polaris
30/4/2018 11:10 | I think so too. If they don't, the only way a shareholder makes money is to sell. | rose_by_another_name
30/4/2018 10:43 | Rose Cant see Usdan being a seller for some time to come GFM will pay an interim divi this year for sure | phillis |
