Zoo, only a liar always buys at the bottom and always sells at the top. Like you I like to trade the backside out of certain stocks. The reality is those trades tend to be a sideshow , a bit of fun. Some you win , some you lose. I am sure that if Alan or anyone else on this board is currently underwater on Matad or any other trading stock it is just a sideshow to their overall portfolio. Most people are today sitting with their portfolios at (or very close to) all time highs. Today is a day to smile and be happy. |

Up what is the current price of MATD and what is Alan's average?.I'll help you with Alan It's 1.56p so when you say he lost all of his money or fifty percent of it, that is pure nonsense. ..How does the math work in your head to give you that figure or statement?.Why are you so concerned about Alan's holding in MATD? .Methinks you bought in and lost, now you're very unhappy about it..Old son, no-one gives a toss, we are all here to make money, the current profit for me on just two of my shares that being GGP and GFM by far outweighs what is sitting in MATD.  Sage thank you, I hope all is good with you also? MATD owes me nothing, I took your advice and traded it left right and centre. What some fail here to appreciate or just they just want to cause trouble is that with this share the oil is there and it's coming out of the ground. Albeit 200 BPD because it's been chocked back from 800 BPD due to pressure issues. As stated in the second to last RNS modifications needed to be made. The current temperature there is -36 so I'm not expecting much for the next six weeks or so on the mods. We've now had the land agreement signed off as stated in the last RNS so my expectations now are that more things can be arranged etc as other things are sorted out in the background. Also there's a nice refinery coming on line that will need to be fed, it seems that the new governor is very keen to get things sorted out. We just have to look at GFM and conversations that both you and I've had with RG regarding dealing with the Chinese and how they have their own way of doing things so it's not much different with MATD. |

Hi Zoo, I hope all is well with you and that thus far 2025 is being kind to both you and El. Indeed I hope it is being kind to all posters. I would just say that I don’t look on Matad as an investment. It is just something to trade. GFM & GGP are investment worthy. In contrast Alba just has me scratching my head in disbelief at the MCAP. All IMHO. A great day on the markets. Financials doing well again but also I have a holding in L&G artificial intelligence fund. It keeps going up (more than the tech fund). In terms of GFM I can only believe (just speculation) that something is happening behind that we don’t know about. In the meantime like others I am just enjoying the ride. |
