07/5/2024 10:14 | Lots of panic on the rampers only thread. Squeaky bum time. Have a good week all LOL. | arthur75
07/5/2024 09:44 | Not sure it weakens our position. Problems get fixed. They reduce the value and strengthen our negotiating position and Newmont gets to foot the bill to fix it. They cannot sell it as a going concern, as a non operating mine, with without massive indemnities. So imo they have to put it right or at least put provision in place to put it right. (Which means Greatland as buyer takes a risk but equally enjoys the benefit when it's corrected)Further, odd IMO that over the past 5-6 years of following Telfer mine, there's been no significant issues other than declining grades. Then suddenly it's a disaster zone. Could it be Newcrest neglect... or Newmont kitchen sinking. | hydrogen1
07/5/2024 09:25 | Over 1000 employees at Telfer though most on short term 6 month contracts | hydrogen1
07/5/2024 09:25 | I see Apple did not hold 182 trend... mind the gap below because that bohemouth is going down on a weak consumer and really stupid goggles. | hydrogen1
07/5/2024 09:15 | Also says the processing plant has been upgraded to process copper from the West dome. I wonder where else has an eye-watering amount of copper 🤔 | negan
07/5/2024 09:13 | Google says Telfer employs over 300 personnel. Blimey, that's a hefty wage bill. | negan
07/5/2024 09:06 | Telfer are stock piling ore whilst they are fixing the tailings. What's not to stop us stock piling ore at Havieron whilst we build our own processing plant should we go down that road. | negan
07/5/2024 08:18 | Well surprised, thought we would get smacked on open | telbap
07/5/2024 07:53 | Anyone know how many staff are employed at Telfer? | negan
06/5/2024 19:47 | Telfer is absolutely the elephant in the room. Why would we take it on? Surely it would be better to make a bid for the remaining 70% of Havieron and a bid to buy the old processing plant and leave Newmont to decommission Telfer mine themselves no? | negan
06/5/2024 19:42 | Telfer down tools must be costing Newmont a small fortune. | negan
06/5/2024 08:28 | Just consider it a typo RSI! You are right though, I think it is best to remain dignified, despite chaos, at every opportunity. And of course some would say this is a great opportunity. 8-) | hazl

05/5/2024 23:47 | Charts are working as predicted ( rise/retrace) It went up from the recent bottom, and now had the retracement last Friday reaching 5.70p intraday low it was the 61.8% Fibonacci retrace I mentioned was normal any share with a rise is expected to have. 6 days chart of rise/ retrace and Fibonacci... Master RSI 2 May '24 - 23:11 - 32225 An 11.9% rise from the bottom is now a 4% drop from the top or 38.2% Fibonacci retracement, the 50 or 61.8% Fibonacci is normal | master rsi
05/5/2024 22:17 | hazl - re - fart said it just escaped from me It seems you are going with the flow, learning fast street talk, if I remember well at one time you will repudiate such loose class language. | master rsi
05/5/2024 19:33 | Some people like fartjet.....it is so difficult to see value anywhere in. IMO | hazl
05/5/2024 17:44 | Stfu hazl, Trying to sound clever. We know you are a sheep 🙈 | original fastjet
05/5/2024 07:59 | I think commodities will rise because they are tangible. | hazl
04/5/2024 22:34 | Unfortunately the fundamentals are collapsing. Short term bounce. IMO mag 7 now mage 3 Apple nearly failed at trend had to hold 182 and did, but only just. Even with the 100bn buy back. Starbucks and McDonald's collapse tells you all you need to know. The entire stock market is being held up by 3 stocks. What could possibly go wrong? Interest rates could go up? After all inflation is higher for longer and rising. | hydrogen1
04/5/2024 13:33 | For those fretting about the underperformance of gold stocks vs gold since the start of the year - take a look at what happened in 2016. The GDX massively underperformed gold during the first weeks of the year before going up 150% in the next 6 months. | hydrogen1 |
