Just to throw a spanner in the works for the shorts saying we won't be mining until 2025. Not unless Newmont fix the tailings dam and in the meantime we strike a deal to own both 100% of Havieron and Telfer. We could become a producing gold and copper miner as soon as September. Not impossible

Hydrogen1 'They will and can trim the fat out of the Ex Newcrest Telfer policies, workforce and practices'
You know all the current policies? You know each of the workforces contracts? You know all the current practices? You know who the new company might be and what their strategies are ?
Yes, right, of course not. This is the problem when desperate , ignorant halfwits post utter nonsense to try and ramp a share.
Of course they need simpleton suckers to fall for it, so expect Negan, Deputy303 , Telebap etc to lap it up.
Share price struggles to get to 6, was 11.50 in December.
Have a good weekend all LOL LOL.

Telfers mill can process up to 30 million tonnes of ore per annum. Does anyone know if it was running at full capacity prior to suspension?

Havieron are now looking to ramp up from 2MT to 3MT per annum.

That means that the Telfer mill needs to be adapted. Does this mean that they will cut off part of the mill to process 3MT and the remaining part will be reduced to 27mt per annum?

Happy to see that BAMPS over on lse is now giving recognition to the other mineable ore not yet mined on the Telfer licence 👍

Maybe a question for Shaun the next time Liam does an interview as I'm sure this is not price sensitive.

Not found any recent answers since asking about when Newcrest announced that they would be adapting the Telfer processing plant to accommodate the ore from Havieron due to the different make up ie, high grade copper and other minerals. Do we know if this part of the processing plant has been completed yet?

A New company owns can reorganise and strategies. They will and can trim the fat out of the Ex Newcrest Telfer policies, workforce and practices. They will make savings where safe and that do not impede direct production by changing old school working practice and the reduce Telfers fixed costs

Here's another question?

I know that the Telfer processing plant can process up to 30 million tonnes of ore per annum. As we know the Telfer mine is coming to end of life and the remaining ore is of low grade. Do we know what output the mill was processing at before being suspended.

Reason I ask is with all of this ore being stockpiled how quick can that be processed once the tailings have been fixed.

Am I right in thinking that Telfer are still stockpiling ore but are unable to process until the tailings have been repaired?

Not expecting any answers on this thread but usually get answered on lse and GGPCHAT when I post?

What happens to all of the Telfer staff under contracts. Do the new owner of Telfer have to keep all contracts, bonuses, redundancies etc or is this null and void. Obviously Newmont must have been in the same situation when they bought out Newcrest?

For me GGP is total fundamental driven. Little or no chart inference until we are a producing miner, then the technical can have a strong input.

re -If you can explain the head and shoulders would be good

Inverted head and shoulders is a reversal pattern formed by three consecutive lows and two intermediate highs.
The first and third lows are called shoulders. They are located approximately at the same level above the second – the head.

The pattern is considered completed only when the price, having formed the right shoulder, rises above the neckline. It is expected that further price movement up will be approximately equal to the height of the head.
