13/2/2024 09:10 | Common theme but also sold my last small holding this AM. Will only revisit if this stops to some crazy low price | ![]() johndoe23
13/2/2024 09:05 | Smokeyjohnson, yes, it would be better to not buy any shares rather than display no confidence by buying such a small amount. | liam1om
13/2/2024 08:50 | Yes true I realised that after I had re read the RNS and tried to delete my posts. I have also decided there are too many red flags and have exited too | ![]() basem1
13/2/2024 08:39 | Your argument is floored, if they saw great value in GOOD they would have kept the 2m worth of shares. There was a sufficient cash element in the deal already. The counter argument would be that the didn't have confidence in being able to place that number of share in the open market.Time (and results) will tell the full picture. | ![]() hatfullofsky
13/2/2024 08:35 | CEO on £320k buys £5k of shares!, that's his level of confidence that this is undervalued!. | ![]() disc0dave46
13/2/2024 08:33 | Would no director buys be better then? They wouldn't have arisen as a discussion point if the RNSs didn't appear? | ![]() smokeyjohnson
13/2/2024 08:01 | Canaccord Genuity: "Valuation: hard to justify After yesterday's placing, GOOD’s market cap is ~£46mn. At the end of 2023E, and net of the £3.7mn outflow for JPS, we expect over £15mn in excess cash, and its 50% stake in Zap-Map was valued at £13mn in the most recent (August 2022) transaction. The rump the energy supply business, the related recurring feed-in-tariff and other businesses, and the energy services, which generate all the group EBITDA – are therefore valued at less than £14mn, for EBITDA of £11mn in 2024E. We continue to see this as hard to justify, given GOOD’s robust balance sheet, strong UK market position, and track record of value generation." | ![]() someuwin
13/2/2024 07:46 | On that basis is NP working for them or us? | ![]() cocker
13/2/2024 07:35 | Director buys are a bit small, but tasteless given they knew dumping so many shares on the market would cause the share price to crash. Rubbing salt into the wounds. | ![]() 3ootuk
13/2/2024 07:32 | Obviously they have retained 480,000 shares | ![]() basem1
13/2/2024 07:30 | Also they would never have been able to purchase as many shares that they have been issued without moving the price significantly. Starting to make sense now | ![]() basem1
13/2/2024 07:29 | The more I think about it the more it makes sense They get a decent price for the business with an added sweetener of making another 2m gbp on the shares issued to them at 2.50 | ![]() basem1
13/2/2024 07:25 | Fair points Unless The JPS owners see significant value in the combined business and wanted a stake at this lower level That would make a lot of sense. If not they would potentially be paying nearer 3.30 share for a stake | ![]() basem1
13/2/2024 07:15 | See my post 611I think the ?8m loss pencilled in for H2-23 may have something to do with this fall plus - The balance of 2023 and the first half of 2024 are a period of planned investment. What this means to the cash pile might be spooking the market. That and the fact that the markets are absolutely pants at the moment.------------S | ![]() hatfullofsky
12/2/2024 17:45 | Couldn't they stump up the extra £3.3m instead of discount placing and dilution?Last update they implied they had sufficient cash for acquisitions......with more investment in Zapmap, could they be strapped for cash now?. | ![]() disc0dave46
12/2/2024 16:13 | You think they could have worked the sells a bit better. | ![]() 3ootuk
12/2/2024 16:07 | Got some more under the placing price which I wasnt expecting first thing this morning and thats me done. Sit and wait now. Good luck all. | liam1om
12/2/2024 14:13 | Short term noise possibly. They paid 7m up front for 1.3m pre tax profits. 06.m the previous year. £2m+ in year to Apr 2025? The balance subject to performance. Also it's not really dilution if profits have been bought. It's not like it was a placing for working capital. | ![]() allstar4eva
12/2/2024 14:01 | Great to take out a competitor but yes the discount seems crazy when you think this has been trading at 400-420. An increase in the number of shares in circulation probably isn't a bad thing and adds to liquidity but comes with short term pain. I guess this will stabilise a bit once we see approx 1mill shares traded | ![]() smokeyjohnson
12/2/2024 14:01 | What price would have been fair? | ![]() allstar4eva
12/2/2024 13:56 | Clearly market reaction to the deal isn't positive. To be fair I have a lot of faith in NP,but price of share deal and dilution leaves a lot to be desired. | ![]() cocker
12/2/2024 12:28 | After the deal at 250 I very much doubt 220 is on the way but nice try | ![]() hatfullofsky
12/2/2024 12:26 | 220 on the way? | ![]() gswredland |
