27/10/2021 11:57 | Any thing in the budget that could help here? | beergut
05/10/2021 07:15 | Another solid trading update today. G. | garth
17/6/2021 13:33 | let's hope so Garth. Hopefully after the re-structuring efforts they will start to turn their hand to making serious money as well as producing top-quality tech products. | lindowcross
08/6/2021 16:33 | Lindowcross, Another good day. Could it be that we are heading back to the dizzy heights of £18 and beyond? G. | garth
04/6/2021 17:46 | Garth, well done for holding on for so long, even if you let some go along the way. I've held for a decade or so and like the company. No doubt if this was listed in the USA it would be worth at least double its current quoted value. | lindowcross
04/6/2021 13:26 | Ditto that comment again re interims. G. | garth
24/2/2021 13:55 | Decent update and appears that the market liked it. Consolidation activities going well. G. | garth
22/2/2021 07:28 | Well run company in interesting areas. I have held a small core continually for over 20 years Netty. I just wish I had held on to more. 67.5p purchase price on the ones I have in paper still. The thread header was of course tongue in cheek when started almost 20 years ago. Maybe it should now read - no future in laser, fibre-optics and space communications...? The PE is high in the event of a massive market sell off. But in that event I expect I would be selling my vinyl collection and backing the truck up. Of limited help, I know. But those is my feelings. Kind regards, G. | garth
21/2/2021 19:45 | Anyone got a feeling about this? | netcurtains
23/12/2020 11:43 | Great stuff. Come a long way from Archie's shed. A long, long, long way... ;0) G. | garth
23/12/2020 09:48 | Announcement today To my untutored mind it sounds like a groundbreaking advance in satellite communications using lasers on a system launched by Japan, and using GHH specially developed photonics. Huge feather in the cap for GHH and, who knows, a whole new field may be opening up. Management policy looks to be spot on, and as a long-term shareholder I congratulate them and the scientific/engineeri | dozey3
07/10/2020 09:23 | GHH confirmed that its financial year ending 30 September 2020 is expected to have ended slightly ahead of management's previous expectations. Investor's Champion likes this busines but GHH has always struggled to deliver the sort of financial returns one might expect from a specialist of its kind. Peak operating margins have hovered around 13% with peak return on equity approx. 10%. | energeticbacker
08/6/2020 08:14 | largish order on the button of 4:30pm on Friday: 05-Jun-20 16:30:53 1,044.4316 9,500 Buy* 1,020.00 1,045.00 99.22k | netcurtains

17/3/2020 15:50 | Now 780p so what value to city scribblers - Peel Hunt and Finncap - very poor crystals balls like nearly everone!!!!!!!!!!!!! | pugugly
19/2/2020 13:03 | peel hunt opens with a buy 1650, finncap with a reduction to 1150 it's almost averaging these figures. | mw8156
11/12/2019 14:36 | I still hold paper from 1999. Really wish I had kept more and not traded my profits on the 60p to £6 spike on Durlacher and Infobank.... G. | garth
11/12/2019 12:16 | I cry when I see this Co. I remember buying 10k at 40p and sold at small profit sub #1... | jailbird
11/12/2019 12:07 | Looks like it might be trying to break back up... G. | garth
16/8/2019 13:36 | Yep, it looks like the market is having difficulty valuing this company at the moment. My view is that it's good value at this price, so I've just made a modest purchase to add to my long-held holding. It could fall further though, and the share price seems sensitive to China/USA trade issues. My own view is that this is a great company for those taking a long term view. | lindowcross
16/8/2019 08:19 | Following a 50% fall from highs it made a 50% recovery, now looks like its heading below £9 again... G. | garth
21/6/2019 10:14 | IQE update today: Photonics The Group issues revised constant currency (USD) guidance for the Photonics segment which it now expects to grow by less than 30% year on year (previous guidance of over 50%) | garth
05/6/2019 20:59 | looks as though this fall is turning into a rout, might have thought that it would be a takeover target at these levels. | mw8156 |
