Nope. Inflation will keep on rising. But gold will fall. The markets are doing opposite to what should happen.

Look at the markets. Theyre screaming. Even ruble is up today. The sanctions have done well for Russian billionaires. They've bought heavily yesterday and are quids in. They'll have more of that.

Lol .. Spacedust .. it shot up by that 5% then shot back down by that 5% .. calling that a tanking is misleading imho. Then you have high inflation .. is that going to reverse when Ukraine surrenders ?

Kenneth. It hit 1979$ yesterday and then the yanks took it down. 1979 isnclose to 2000. Then at one point it was 1832. Ok maybe not 10% drop but anything over 5% drop in one go is huge. So apologies for the understatement. Should be 1800 soon with dollar rising and the war will be over very swiftly then gold will tank

Yes. From almost 2000 to almost 1800 is near enough 10%. In my books a 10% decline in the price of gold is severe so tanking was an understatement. Apologies Kenneth.
