Resignation of Director

Goldplat plc, the AIM quoted gold producer, with international gold recovery operations located in South Africa and Ghana, announces that Nigel Wyatt has advised the company of his intention to step down as non-executive director at the forthcoming AGM.

Commenting on Nigel's departure, Matthew Robinson, non-executive Chairman, said "Goldplat has benefited immensely over the last 8 years from Nigel's experience both in the southern Africa mining industry and as a counsel to management. We thank him for his contribution over these years and wish him very well for the future."
