Wiz - there is no some disconnect with this and the HUI.

My OEIC gold funds are building momentum.

Discount is widening here.

Try CYN, though it also carries other commodities including oil. Chart reads very similarly.

This one looks quite perky, given that it's some way under its 200wma. But last time it was over the 100 it was around the 90p mark. Less upside here than on individual pm plays like mml, but.. could be worth watching as a barometer for the sector..?

I think the low is in as far as gold and silver are concerned and I used it to top up my holdings.

If this is the much anticipated correction than I am long term long and happy days, just hope it isn't a DCB Bull trap although this time if seems to have more momentum, we will soon know.

stevie - I've got a feeling the next few days are going to make it a lot more exciting...

This is the start of the short squeeze on gold. $1190 was the low. GPM is set to bounce big time. I have no idea how far the soon-to-explode short close-outs and panic buying will take us but I've just topped up here.

I also hope my timing is good, but I haven't been this bullish on gold for a long time.

Yep - AGQ (nightmare), MML (fortunately out at 300) and GPM have not served me well of late!

same here, I have cash ready but am not averaging down any more and have held a top heavy losing position in both RRS and GPM for the last few months and would be happy to get my money back rather than over extend my position, well done to those who have the gonads though.

I think we'll see the end of this move over the summer - most (esp me!) will miss the very bottom but that's fine - having been so badly burned on the way down I want to know it's going to go up again before I buy back....I think Jul and Aug NFPs and FOMCs will cause violent gyrations in PMs and miners...thereafter it may be time to rise again. Or not!
