Eft's have always been blamed for the switching of capital from miners to bullion ever since the ETF's were created.

Id rather have ownership of a company than ownership of a paper promise for gold.

Something is going to have to occur within the industry as we enter into the new year or I believe even some of the long-term holders of the gold shares are going to begin to take a good, hard look at maintaining their holdings. Investors put their capital into a company because they are looking for return on that investment. If they can find better returns in an ETF, they are going to make the move there. That is just a simple fact of investor life.

Sorry to say i sold a load today. Its one of the star features of this share is that it is slow to react so you can often sell at a premium and buy at a discount.

Most dissapointed though.

I bought into the subs having as I thought, observed a correlation between the subs price and the shares price from the charts
I am not sure that has been holding up in the way I planned on
but if thoings reverted to that pattern then when GPM gets back to 120p a share the subs will be 26p a pop

so why buy gpm shares?

the subs seem to be experiencing a weak period at the moment

I am in modest profit because having bought subs at around 13p I then added down at the low prices

as for the conversations on conversion, I didn't worry myself over that I just supposed I would flog the subs same way as I bought 'em..anyway plenty of time to consider that matter further down the line.
