24/10/2009 16:23 | Interesting to see that GNE Group has gone into liquidation. Asset stripping was obviously top of the agenda then? | topvest
23/7/2009 20:03 | Hi,topvest..I was practicing my editing of pictures on this dead bb(i thought) when I saw your post,...feeling nostalgic for good old GNE? 1.4M ...that sounds cheap from what I remember..?? have you got a link for that? microgen MCGN doing quite well now they've got our money....never got in...miners and oil and gas only at present for me (jlp mxp kmr....)wondering how john (model635)is doing...haa good old days.GIO | giovannina
23/7/2009 19:45 | Panther have recently bought all the development sites for c£1.4m. | topvest
02/5/2009 07:24 | Yes, got mine yesterday. Game over! | topvest
01/5/2009 09:26 | All my shares held in a nominee account, got my cash on the 24th April | ironhorse
30/4/2009 20:01 | Odd to me that some get their cash a couple of weeks earlier. Fastrade have said end of next week to me. Those that have cash already, were you certificated and not held through CREST? | topvest
28/4/2009 18:30 | I have received mine. | sverma
28/4/2009 10:02 | IG Markets closed my CFD position at 190p. | turbounit
28/4/2009 08:56 | topvest ...cash will arrive 14 days from today, thats what I have been told by my broker yesterday I am guessing 14 working days so I hope we will get the money no later than the 15th of May....cant wait....bought KMR at 9p need to top up......and TAN ....and KYS.... | giovannina
27/4/2009 20:26 | Anyone else had the cash through? Mine are held in a CREST personal membership account, but don't seem to have received any funds yet. | topvest
24/4/2009 10:28 | Well done Ironhorse - our GNE/MSX discussions on this board go back a long way. I didn't realise you were still holding. You must have a lot of patience. | nod
15/4/2009 19:22 | Looks like they have 80% and gone unconditional. I've accepted, but received a call today from GNE who are obviously calling around all shareholders. Looks like we have another month or so until we get the cash. | topvest
01/4/2009 14:55 | i'm essentially out, 1.5p below offer price only a small % to take for getting the mits on the money in T+3 days. It's been a long ride, but i guess essentially doubled my money over the last 3-4 years which is better than the market as a whole | privileged
01/4/2009 10:15 | if you are interested in 3-baggers check out ENV - it is up 100% today.... | asparks
01/4/2009 10:08 | I can understand those selling now to get the cash today. They are losing less than 2p per share from the offer price. | rheiner
01/4/2009 09:21 | It would make sense for Norcliffe to acquire as much around 190p as possible even if it is slightly over the offer price. When they have 75% of the shares they can apply to have the company delisted from AIM at which point most PIs would want to sell. At 90% they can compulsorily acquire the remaining shares. | turbounit
01/4/2009 08:29 | Strange - wish we could read more into it, but i suspect it is just an uneducated trade due to the size As turbounit says, there's still a good margin to be made even at a decent percentage above the current offer but not sure anyone will attempt to do this | privileged
01/4/2009 07:13 | amazing...why is somebody paying over the offer price ????...albeit for a very small amount of shares | currypata kai
27/3/2009 12:47 | LOL Ironhorse. The problem is we tend to discover these things ex post facto! If the bulk of GNE's NAV is cash and it is well north of £1.90, why isn't some other company making a bid? Wind GNE up, pay back your bridging loan and there's £10m or so for your troubles. It's like £50 notes lying everywhere on the ground but only Ratty is bothering to hoover them up! | turbounit |
