04/3/2009 21:19 | So do we get to know the outcome of the vote? | ![]() ironhorse
04/3/2009 18:42 | Goml - this is becoming a farce - will it be a red yellow or pink form next time round - my money is on yellow as an appropriate colour for this bunch of greedy piratical and cowardly losers! BTW - still no response from the nomad Seymour Pierce - I take the view now that they have been complicit in this fiasco. The only contact was "out of the office" far too conveniently for my liking. Think a tel call to them is now in order. | chrismez
04/3/2009 17:55 | topvest, no. as i understand it, we all have to vote again. | goml
04/3/2009 17:42 | More cost wasted. Another U-turn? Presumably, we will have another circular? Can they still use the votes from the previous meeting at the adjourned meeting? | ![]() topvest
04/3/2009 16:36 | Thanks Simon.....;@) | giovannina
04/3/2009 16:25 | Model635, I think you will find that Vaiman has decided to back Keith. That accepted, I think Ratcliffe has overstretched himself - particularly if those who have not yet committed now do so. Simon Cawkwell | simon cawkwell
04/3/2009 14:49 | kooba - give me call when you're back in residence | model635
04/3/2009 14:48 | If Ratcliffe wants to secure Vaiman's vote/shares then he either has to do it openly which means make an offer for all the remaining GNE shares or not at all.The ToP are already watching his every move and if he tries any tricks with smoke and mirrors and hey presto Vaiman suddenly changes his vote he'll end up answering questions from men wearing wigs! | model635
04/3/2009 14:30 | Simon, Respect as always, but what the shareholders want is winding up and a cash distribution. If I want to invest in a 'technology fund' utilising Ratty's 'skills' then Microgen is always open to me. | ken123rose
04/3/2009 14:14 | I dont want to be invested with these shysters whatever they offer. | ![]() ironhorse
04/3/2009 13:31 | Thanks Simon | model635
04/3/2009 12:58 | Can we expect Vaiman to be offered a seat on the board and a large salary in return for his approval next time? Port seems to imply that the choice is between a divi/petrol station and an Investment Trust. I accept that business conditions have changed and it might not be appropriate to try and build up a new business, so... Just wind up the company and give us the money please! Alternatively, they could give shareholders the choice between say a £2 divi and a share in an Investment Trust. That would leave Ratty enough cash to start an investment trust and would provide a reasonable upside for anyone willing to take a chance on him and give a fair way out for the rest. Fayrewood did something similar recently in a way that genuinely treated shareholders fairly and equally. | ![]() steve36
04/3/2009 12:35 | A round of applause for Keith Moss, they pulled the vote because they knew they'd lose.Unfair I know but apparently allowable. Simon - your thoughts would be most welcome | model635
04/3/2009 12:02 | This is frustarting, but not bad. It means Ratty et al have not been able to steamroller through their propsosals by means of a short notice EGM at an ungodly hour (for those travelling in to London) aided by an inaccurate RNS. It suggests reconsideration and compromise are in the air. | ken123rose
04/3/2009 11:46 | So you have..............a EGM............to adjourn the.......EGM....... ....A waste of time...............s | zoo123
04/3/2009 11:36 | This was my post on monday 8273.........this week will be an important one that's for sure but I feel it wont be the end of it,I dont think we will reach a straight cut resolution one way or another I got the gut feeling this will drag on and on .........lets hope I am totally wrong and GNE decided to return all the cash to shareholders......I am dreaming again... | giovannina
04/3/2009 11:16 | ridiculous, just waiting for confirmation of the official reason for adjournment before penning vitriolic complaint to AIM about conduct of directors and nomad. | goml
04/3/2009 10:51 | I wonder what the next hairbrained scheme will be? Whatever it is voting appears to be a waste of time! | model635
04/3/2009 10:48 | My voting against............a ...........them..... | zoo123
04/3/2009 10:44 | Can't see why a reason for the adjournment wasn't in the RNS. One must have been given at the meeting, so that information should be in the public domain, not just privvy to those who managed to attend...very odd. On the positive side though, can we assume that the board haven't had it all their own way. If they had secured enough votes, you would have thought that it would be done and dusted at this EGM? | bazw1
04/3/2009 10:27 | Can someone who was at the EGM please update the BB | model635
04/3/2009 10:22 | .....and another month for the directors to earn a fat salary for doing nothing. Really somebody should ask the question - so what are you going to do for the next 4 weeks for your fat salary? | ![]() guru
04/3/2009 10:15 | Whatever is going on?!!! | model635 |
