I bought yesterday as a result of reading report in Mail on Sunday and they have gone up 3.1% today so not such a bad tip!!!Long term looks good I think but as ever D Y O R .

Last time this hit 60p or so and the markets could be heading for another sharp fall - who knows!!

Yes there are a lot of bottoms coming up! LOL --- the company is sound and the markets are extremely fickle at the moment, one can only persevere.

If you believe what it says in latest EEF Report on Manufacturing Outlook, then forget the current crisis, Buy GKN. Strong demand continued to be expected into Q2011 and 2012 for Motor vehicles and Other Transport( mainly civil aerospace) , couple that to weakening prices in base metals due to a glut in output should feed through to continued profit growth for all GKN's operations.

Hello gents, I'm not a chartist I just use them as an aid, however, what a traumatic week this has been, the high of 205 was very encouraging, if only I had waited a little longer before topping up, MSCI didn't make much of an impact it's still early days yet though, I would be pleased if they held at 200+ as you say Monday is on the other hand !!!

They were uncrossed trades (UT) and inter fund transfers (IFT) - delayed publication requested by the tranferee, also a lot of negotiated trades (NT) all after hours of course, shouldn't be too concerned ( I HOPE ) with thumb tightly held between my teeth. LOL --- Tam.
