04/10/2017 14:38 | Well someone recognises that our share is a third of where it should be NOW and that's without the likely upside from PESH and the giant gas developments to come. I suspect that was not a buy on margin, lol. Brent $56.06 | cyan
04/10/2017 14:30 | Nice 1,096,417 buy @ 127p someone is expecting good Pesh 3 results having just invested GBP 1.4 million in genel! | panagos
04/10/2017 14:03 | DNO share price strengthening up, guess we should be back to 160p within a week or two. | panagos
04/10/2017 13:16 | 08/10/17 is the target date. Looking forward to the RNS. The Peshkabir-3 well spudded on 8 July 2017 and will take approximately three months to drill and complete. The well will target the lateral extent of the Cretaceous discovery to the north of the P-2 penetration over the poorly seismically imaged crest of the Peshkabir structure. The results of the P-3 well and any subsequent production testing will be important in determining the overall potential of the Peshkabir discovery. Combined production from the P-2 and P-3 wells will be routed through an early production facility which is expected to be installed by year-end 2017. | panagos
04/10/2017 12:44 | Agree mate. Just look at centrica today! I bet they wished Theresa had not made her current speech! | gregpeck7
04/10/2017 12:01 | Good luck gregpeck7. Luck has its part to play. I have seen so may 'great potentials' disappoint (look at GKP!)and it has turned me to "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush type." Brent now $56.01 good | cyan
04/10/2017 11:54 | Cyan have a look at the Kenyan blocks which will come online soon, personally i think they will get a billion barells out of it...http://www.tull | gregpeck7
04/10/2017 11:51 | Cyan, Tlw could be sitting on 200,000 bopd though very soon, also they are involved in projects with majors. 900 million usd starts to come from total next year as part of farm down agreements. It's not a clear picture. Clearly a high oil price will drive all the afore mentioned companies higher. Genel risk is political , Tlw is financial. I think all four will come good but clearly I adjust based on working knowledge. Of all my holdings as it stands though I am most bullish on Tullow. | gregpeck7
04/10/2017 11:47 | Interesting thoughts gregpeck7. There are a few things that need to go right in your positive list for TLW. Here is some food for thought; TLW guidance for production is nearly 88,000 barrels per day for all of 2017. I will use that number. The market values TLW at £2.490 BILLION. Doing a bit of maths shows that for each barrel per day of production the market values it at £28,295 The same maths for President energy I mentioned recently came up with £31,250 Do the same maths with GENL and you get £9,518 TLW 's debt is $3.8 Billion USD Wow If you look at the Market to book ratio TLW is around 1.27 (over one suggests overvalued) The numbers all suggest to me that, in fairness, GENL's share price should be well over 300p now! Brent $55.92 better | cyan
04/10/2017 11:47 | Losses, had 120k shares. Have 30,000 left... | gregpeck7
04/10/2017 11:46 | 126 cracked now should see a decent move up.. | losses
04/10/2017 11:42 | That's better... go genel | losses
04/10/2017 11:40 | Thought you sold out here Greg? Sorry not been reading all posts. | losses
04/10/2017 11:18 | Current oilers I'm holding.. genl, pmo, Tlw and panr, weighted towards first 3. V small uen holding for giggles. | gregpeck7
04/10/2017 11:16 | Great petroleum blocks, close partnership with total, itlos ruling in favour, quick ramp up of ten, decent hedging and mgmt, cracking block in Kenya to come online inside 24 months and potential blockbuster well being spudded this month of Suriname. Tullow free carry. That's just for starters. Downside is the debt but that will be dealt with as long as oil holds above 50. Tbh I think it will be taken over way before a lot of the above value is realised. | gregpeck7
04/10/2017 09:59 | What are the positives you see in TLW gregpeck7. The numbers do not impress me and the debt is GIGANTIC. Brent $55.69 | cyan
04/10/2017 09:56 | Some broker downgrades on Tullow today, by Jeffries among others ( utter idiots imo ) but seems to have spooked a few other oilers... | gregpeck7
04/10/2017 09:29 | Oh no... this will test 110 very very soon..If you listen you will make or preserve your cash !! | carla1
04/10/2017 09:18 | Once again not responding to buying ! Only sells. Yesterday's bounce was weaker than I expected but hopefully the seller has finished and we can move forward. | 7rademark |
