Tony is on record saying that the BOD would be willing to to merger / takeout ,but not below £4.50 a share , watch the big holders for a clue!

There are several companies on my radar that might buy GENL in the future ..

1) Rosneft
2) Sinopec
3) DNO
4) PetOil

All have a strategic fit and could buy Genl out. Huge potential upside for these companies by acquring GENL .. I would take 1.20 in the next 3 months but would want much more after that.

Looking nice for a sustained ride up , as usual Roper and windyjammer are hiding under the bedclothes .Even the day traders are getting excited , money for all once the big one is confirmed soon.

I didn't expect to see 80p plus without a confirmation of payment from December plus an indication of how much of the debt will be cleared each month.I was wrong.I can't see any real advance from here being held without some clarity on that still. But I have been wrong once already so who knows.

GENL is currently priced that writes off the $400m debt but this deal should correct that 'write off' as far as the share price is concerned.

May take a day or two for the news to filter through IMHO
