In our recent update it said

"Both Genel and the KRG have the option to terminate the GLAs by February 2018. If the conditions precedent are not satisfied within 12 months, the KRG has a right to terminate the GLAs. During a three-year period following such a termination, Genel would have a right of first refusal to participate in development of the Miran and Bina Bawi gas fields with a 49% working interest on the same terms offered to any third party"

What exactly the bit "if the conditions precedent are not satisfied in 12 months the KRG has a right to terminate the GLAs" mean ????

For me its the non Genel issues which will play a major role in moving us upwards.

ISIL defeat.
KRG budget in surplus
Agreed payment plan for receivables for all oil companies.
Oil companies selling their own oil
Opec deal extended.
Closer cooperation with Bagdad.
Kurdistan Indépendance.

So we know that our oil fields at Chia Surkh is being written down by 168$ million and we might take another write down on Taq Taq. We also know our gas fields are being written down.

So 2 questions to think about.

1 How much will our Gas fields be written down by.

2 Will this make it easier to get a partner and if so when,

ABOUT BARRYROE

Barryroe, located in the North Celtic Sea Basin, off the south coast of Ireland, has had six wells successfully drilled on the structure. Hydrocarbons have been logged in all six wells, with flow test results from four wells. Four wells were drilled in the 1970's by Esso with a further appraisal well drilled in 1990 by Marathon Oil. The sixth well was drilled by Providence in 2011/12. The oil is light (43(o) API) with a wax content of c. 17-20%. The successfully tested reservoir sands are of Cretaceous Middle and Lower Wealden age located between c. 4,500' TVDSS and 7,550' TVDSS. The field is covered by both 2D and 3D seismic, the latter which was acquired in 2011.

Audited (NSAI/RPS) on block resources amount to 1.048 billion barrels in place, with an estimated P50 recoverable resources of 311 MMBO (plus associated gas). A further 778 MMBO barrels in place have been identified in incremental sands, though these sands have yet to be tested.
