the same guy who will soon be the ex Chairman of Genel?

Sparky agreed. The reality is for 500m bucks of debt, Glencore will get 2bn bucks plus of oil over the term of the contract...Anyone worked out who's getting screwed yet? Clue: Not Glencore, not KRG..

If glencore and Haywood wanted to do the right think some of that $500m should go towards DNO, GKP and Genel debt owed by he MNR

The oil companies are effectively funding the war as the oil is in Kurdistan if the country collapses the ownership of the oil fields may suddenly be in question or oil infrastructure destroyed or taken over by IS. It is in the oil companies best interests to pay for the armed security given by Kurds.

Fingers crossed.I have the upmost respect for the Kurds and the fight against that terrible group ISIL.But why are the Kurds doing all the dirty work and Genel and DNO effectively funding it. WTF !!!!Why are the UN not helping with the refugee crisis in Kurdistan ? Iraq wtf they paying for they owe Kurdistan billions No you and I are paying for it and bottom of the queue for payback. This isn't right in my book.

So it's okay to take $500m from glencore as an example and give them priority over repayments ? Thus delaying even further the half a billion owed which we are paying for ? Already ruined thousands of investors in GKP

stop moaning about the Kurds not paying they are simply close to bankruptcy and are doing their best to fight a war at the same time. If they paid the oil companies there may not be a country to produce the oil from. ISIS may have invaded due to lack of weapons and army, unlikely now, or law and order would totally break down if the state disappeared. They set their budgets at higher oil prices so are in trouble nothing is going to change short term this is the risk with Kurdish oil companies either accept it or sell.

The recent rise in POO from around $47 to $around $53 is worth about $10 million per month (GROSS) in respect to GENL's share of production ,by my rough calculations.

Brent $53.32

Unfortunately, for us we are being tarred with the same brush as GKP...but people seem to forget GKP just ran out of money and had to raise more money and consolidate the shares to survive. Why they ran out is a another discussion as I am of the opinion it was worked to shaft the poor old PI's as usual, I just hope the same shenanigans are not being played out here.

If I knew that I would be happier. The problem has stemmed with each month huge payment made back for pre paid oil.Last month was $180m as an example. Now we are about to have glencore paying $500m for oil in advance. We will. It any of that yet monthly oil revenue will pay it down.Wtf !!
